Exclusividad no, excelencia otra vez!
NO ME DAS NINGUNA CARTA??!!)

Servicio impecable.
Chus Algarate

Increible comida.

That's must!! Amazing seafood all together! No menu chef goes to the market buys whatever he likes and brings his creativity to your table!! Full explosion of surprises colors, textures, and flavors but always keeping the tradition when cooking. Very few tables, reservation is a must. Wine and cava selection is wide and various also internationally ( champaign in this case).
Def. a once at a time experience!!! Love it in there highly recommend it!!
Congratulations you guys!!

Best seafood in Barcelona. No menu. They bring out just the best they have for that day. They will cater to any preferences. Leave room for their fish. Prepared beautifully !

I'll be back -- it was a top notch dinner, service, ambiance! Each plate was great.

Non descript entrance with no signage. You walk in to a hallway where you will find the entrance to the restaurant. Very cool ambiance and deceptively big.
Don't worry about the menu. They just start bringing you what they are making...jamon, fish pate, shrimp, prawns, clams...all outstanding. Finally they ask you meat or fish. We had the hake and it was outstanding. The side of vegetables was also excellent.
Really really good experience. This is a relaxed and enjoyable place. On my list of best places ever!

Ok people, here's the deal... food quality and service phenomenal! However the no menu- no idea what the bill will be- is just hard if you're not used to it. It's also not great if the people you are with don't love seafood/and or are picky. Wouldn't recommend otherwise but the food is really great. We were a party of 3 and the bill was about 300$- we had about 5 courses and bottle of wine. They also provide complimentary small
Bottle of sparking which was lovely. We barley touched the last course which was so sad because we wasted food and felt terrible. It was also pretty expensive but very authentic! Be warned the bill is al la carts so tell them no more when you are full!! I would still recommend and loved the overall experience!!! Gracias!!!

I read the reviews and was so looking forward to a lovely evening at this establishment. What a disappointment this was. The food was fair but such that I could and do cook at home any evening of the week. This evening we spent 191,83 euros for a dinner that cost one third of our evening last night at L'Academia but far far less superior quality. What others have described as the "experience" was not realized tonight. We do not recommend this restaurant for the absurd prices they charge when considering the product delivered. I really thought this would be a wonderful evening and was so sadly disappointed. There were so many other establishments that we walked by today in Born that we would have rather given our business to.

Our best meal in the entire Spain trip. Small, poorly
Marked entrance led us to one of the best meals of our life. No menu, incredible service, and delicious. Course after delicious course. A true GEM where everyone went out of their way to give you a special experience. Mucho gracias!!

Had no idea what was coming out (no menu) but everything was excellent. Service was wonderful and attentive. Flavors and quality were outstanding and unique. Will absolutely go back next time I'm in Barcelona.

Great place. The service was fantastic and you felt like you were amongst the "in the know" crowd since this place isn't easy to find. I went for lunch by myself because it was my last day in Barcelona and I wanted to treat myself. I paid 85 euros but that included the two glasses of wine I ordered. You need to be adventurous when it comes to seafood because it's a fixed menu. Be prepared to pull some heads off some langoustines! Really a great experience if you're looking for something special.

Amazing amazing...no menu..chef prepares a meal for you until you say stop! Afterwards their night cal is a couple bottles of all you can drink shots. Great experience

if you find this wonderful restaurant, be prepared to eat some of the best food without even knowing what you will eat. grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the feast you are about to be served. be sure let your waiter know if you don't eat certain foods. you will leave fully satisfied and satiated. save room for dessert and a coffee.

Great seafood experience! Best meal in Barcelona and that's tough with all the great food in town, fine dining or tapas!
The 9 appetizers were delicious and set by the restaurant and we only had to choose our entrees. Since there were 3 of us, we opted for one of each of the options they had. The lobster was the best, then the medium rare sirloin and surprisingly the fish came in last.
We finished the dinner w desserts and bonbon, shot of espresso with condensed milk, and complimentary shots of liquor. I chose Irish whiskey and my friends tried different variety of grappas.
The waiters were super nice and attentive and very friendly for non Spanish speaking company. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Barcelona!

This was such a wonderful experience! Couldn't have asked for anything better!!! Come hungry!!! No signage out front though, so trust the address & go down the hallway!!!!

Excellent food and definitely on the more fancy side. We did a prix fix and it was on the expensive side. The waiters were very accommodating and the service was good. Took them awhile to get us the check. I would recommend if you want a tasting menu and have the time and money to spend.

Our friend pissed us off for dinner, it was perfect. Seafood is fresh and very tasty. The wine card is modest, but they clearly deserve the 5 rating

Came here based upon a recommendation by a friend that studied-abroad here. The place doesn't even have a sign out-front...we definitely would not have noticed it had we not been told to come.
Immediately after we were seated we were offered a small bottle of cava (on-the-house) and given a plate of Iberian ham and bread. This was the only non-seafood of the entire meal. From there on it was an 8-course meal of prawns, lobster, and sea snails prepared in a variety of different ways. The final 'main course' was a squid-ink paella with baby-squid which was delicious. The place doesn't have a menu, you simply walk-in and they start service you almost immediately.
I was extremely impressed with the quality of food and the ambience of the restaurant. A very unique meal and one of, if not, the best meal of our 3-week stay in Europe. It was quite a memorable experience.
At the end of the meal the bill was around €80 per person however we only drank the cava that was offered for free at the beginning of the meal...and water. I don't think they offer wine by the glass. If you want to drink wine with the meal it looked like the cheapest bottle they had was around €40...and from there it went up.

Such an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is a little hidden, but worth the find. Make a reservation! The food is Spanish seafood, high end, delicious and exotic (to Americans). SO worth it to emurse yourself in the food culture and have a meal like this while visiting Barcelona. It is a set menu- 10 courses including champagne and coppa. This is a must-do when you are in town!! Highly recommended by my in-laws to us & now I highly recommend to you!!

Hands down, this was our best meal in Barcelona. The restaurant was not easy to find but well worth looking for it. After we were seated a complimentary bottle of Cava arrived. The head waited then approached the table to find out if we had any food allergies or was there any type of food we preferred not to eat. We said, we weren't wild about fish but shellfish was great and lamb pork or beef also worked. The courses then started arriving after we order a great bottle of Luis Cana 2010 Rioja.(Great choice) first was a coquette on a dollop of sauce. I'm not sure what kind of coquette it was but it was elegantly served. Next course was Jambon and Tomato Bread. After than, the grilled prawns cooked in finishing salt arrived.
Baby Squid grilled with olive oil was next. I'm not a big fan of squid in whole pieces but my goodness, you could cut it with a fork. Not only was it tender but the flavors were awesome. The crawfish arrived next. My husband ,from Virginia couldn't deal with the shell so I open his. They we cooked in a spicy tomato sauce. I thought they we wonderful but a little messy. I'm from SC so we are use to shells. Next we're the local beans called Canxet. They were simmered with pork and drizzled with a wonderful aged balsamic vinegar. I didn't eat beans until Spain and I love this local bean. Next we had a baby leg of lamb roasted and then seared. The Crispy skin side was served down and the leg was then drizzled with a Spanish Olive Oil. ( I'll try this at home)
It was very tender and the taste was unreal. We stopped after this. The waiter wanted us to have desert and coffee but we just could not eat anything else. The staff send over a selection of liquors. Again, best dinner in Spain

Dinner here is an experience you will long remember. Is it a gourmet, three-star restaurant? Maybe not. But it serves an amazing abundance of the most wonderful seafood in a beautiful stone-lined room. It makes for a very festive and memorable evening, You sit down and they start bringing plates of wonderful sea creatures to you. And they don't stop doing so for quite a while. Sea snails? Why, yes, please!
Then they bring after dinner drinks. And you go home slightly buzzed, more than slightly sated and most importantly, deliriously happy. Thanks to the concierge at the Hotel Pulitzer who recommended this place to us.
A note: our taxi driver had a difficult time finding the place, as it is at the end of a passage on the first floor of an apartment building.

Wonderful service and seafood. You are served multiple seafood courses without knowing what to expect for any of them. It is up to the chef to decide what you will eat that day. You have the option for a full entree or dessert afterwards, but the initial courses are plenty filling. They gave us a small bottle of cava and digestives on the house. Loved the food and the experience itself!
Raynne O.
10 courses less bread and beverages and we paid 145 euros for 2 pax over lunch. Honestly very expensive for the simple food. Food is fresh but prepared very simply. No menu and it is just what they keep bringing up.
Walked in without reading any online reviews as we were at the end of lunch hour.
I would say it is just too much food and a tad top expensive though service is great but limited english.
Emile T.
Phenomenal restaurant. Great good, great service. One in the group was pick pocketed, however, so watching ones back is a must in not only this place, but in this town as well. A bit of a hole in the wall, just follow number 2 and go in w it. Would recommend, just watch out!

Full disclosure - i dont eat seafood and am basing this review off the visual reactions on my Gf's face and her nod's of agreement.
She loved this place! I dont eat shrimp due to a food allergy but she said if I had to try shrimp once in my life, this would have been the time to do it. Place was tucked away without a sign on the main street. Make sure to take down the address and look down the entrance hall of a non-descript building.
As folks have said, there is no menu and the food just keeps coming. They basically serve you whatever the kitchen is preparing and from the looks of it some tables got some things while others got something else. It was fun to be surprised by the food. Waiters were super friendly and nice, they kept making fun of me for not being able to eat the food but were great about accommodating my diet.
I don teat seafood so I was served the steak instead. Nothing out of this world but good enough. I was just happy for the free mini bottle of Cava given to us, the free shots offered at the end of the meal and the happy look on my Gf's face from the wonderful dinner.
Wasnt cheap though. 135 euros but she did have lots of seafood: 8 small shrimp, 2 large prawns, 2 crayfish, 8 sea snails, iberico ham x2, bread, steak, Potato Gratin, a small bucket of mussels, squid paella, and 2 desserts. may have missed a few things.
