Cheba Hut Toasted Subs

I don't really like sandwiches that much but I will never turn down a white widow. If someone wants to go get subs, this is the only place I'll take them, really high quality. The people who work there range from really friendly to, would laugh if I got killed by a mountain lion in front of them. But that's maybe part of the charm? Getting hungry just thinking about it.

For a sandwich restaurant, I'd say this one is pretty high up there. The cold cuts were plentiful, the house sauce was good, the vegetables weren't noticeably unfresh, and as advertised, the bread was toasted. Contrary to subway, I wasn't busting out the tape measure to verify I wasn't scammed on the foot long. If I could provide a minor gripe, I would say the garlic bread could be a bit more garlicky. The service was pleasant, I'd say worthy of the 5 star. The atmosphere.... Dare I say, a little grating. Just felt like the dude weed lmao theme was kinda tacked on. Either full commit and have a smoker patio (I could see not limiting the customer base by having smoking inside, fair enough) but I don't know, something. All in all though, I can't knock the food, 5 stars.

My Hubby and I Love Cheba Hut! Taste better when you eat there unless you pick and aren’t driving more than 10 minutes so that your bread doesn’t get soggy. Hubby loves the White Widow (Chicken bacon ranch- Trust us it’s good! ) and I Love the The Kind (Turkey bacon). They have many other great selections to choose from to satisfy all the cravings! 😮‍💨🤭 Definitely recommend you come and spice up your sub game! ❤️

Don't sleep on this place! Full bar, always has good music, and subs are great. You'll have to come here a few times to try their top sandwiches. If you're 21+ this is the only Cheba with a bar that I know of; and their signature drinks are awesome as well as a good selection of local brews. I would say this is Tempe's best kept secret, but it's not that much of a secret.

**They’re open again!** Last time I was here it was temporarily closed, I was hella sad…even though I live 25ish mins away in North Phx.😅 Now I know they were remodeling there bar area! I got the Acapulco Gold (BBQ Chicken)…Couldn’t taste anything of BBQ or sauce 🙃 & my pickles were forgotten but besides that sandwiches here are always the bomb. (Con: it is quite warm inside)

Absolutely LOVE coming here! Worth the wait and most importantly the people and management like Ray are amazing! They treat you like family for sure and will always be a place I go to for the best dinner when I don't want to cook, like tonight. Or it's also for somewhere me and my husband can go for some great drinks and finger food when were alone. The new remodel had given this place a great look to keep this location going for years to come. Thank you Ray!

I recently visited Cheba Hut to try the Kali Mist sub, and I was not disappointed! The sub was full of flavor and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their menu is also named after famous weeds around the world😊. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Thanks Cheba Hut!
