Morning Star Cafe

We stumbled across this place while looking on google for places to eat for breakfast. The reviews were great so I figured we would give it a shot! It’s a cute little hole in the wall mom and pop place! It takes you back in time before chain restaurants took over. The sandwiches are huge! All the ingredients are fresh! The coffee is great! The prices are amazing! There are regulars always coming in and out of the door so you know it’s good! The owners are the sweetest most genuine people who feel like family even if it’s your first time there! They play my favorite type of Christian music and have Bible verses on the walls! If I lived closer I would be here all the time! Thank you so much for everything!!

Amazing! The iced coffee came in a massive, styrofoam cup, which is usually a bad sign for how the coffee is going to taste. It was the best iced coffee I’ve had. Smooth, rich, and strong. Ordered a breakfast plate and three sandwiches. All were excellent. Sandwiches came loaded with fresh, delicious veggies on thick slabs of fresh bread. Yum! Service was friendly and personable. Well worth the trip off the beaten path!!

1st time there and it was delicious. Very friendly staff that made us feel at home. The pancakes are big and fluffy like they should be. The portions are large and taste amazing. The bacon is crispy with tons of flavor and the French toast included 6 larges slices of greatness. The wrap is also delicious. They use fresh tortillas and bread from the bakery down the street. I'll be back!

New favorite breakfast and lunch spot! We decided to try this place out because of the great reviews, and it absolutely deserves every five star review. The Ruben is hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. The chorizo and green chili breakfast wrap was packed with flavor and a generous portion. Also, the pancakes were perfectly big and fluffy, and the thick crispy bacon is the best you could ask for. Also, their iced coffee and tea genuinely rivals most coffee shops. In addition, being tucked away in the industrial district and the comfortably homey interior gives it that best kept secret “hole in the wall” feeling. To top off all the charm, the owners are the most friendly and welcoming people, it’s like we were old friends from the beginning. Your stomach deserves this incredible food, and this wonderful small business deserves your money!

Absolutely, Positively, no doubt whatsoever, hands down the BEST REUBEN (Ruben) sandwich I have ever eaten! And the weird part, is I never used to like Rye bread, OR swiss cheese!! I wanted to try something different, and being from NY, I gave the Reuben a try. So glad I did!! It’s the only sandwich I ever order here. My coworkers agree it’s damn good. I’ve tried Reubens from most other sandwich shops around the valley and NOBODY MAKES A REUBEN THIS GOOD. Unbelievable...
