Athenian Grill

This branch is way much better than the other ones in town. I ordered beef lamb gyros with rice and fries, and Cypriot meatballs with fries and salad, along with 4 dish appetizers. The food was amazing, and no comments about it except the meatballs where a bit solid, so we had to use the pita bread to break them instead of the plastic fork 😅. What to improve: the toilets need to be properly maintained! ( they need maintenance)

I had a great experience here today. I stopped in for a quick lunch. I was served quickly and the woman who took my order was polite. The food was delicious, but what stood out to me was how kind the staff were. I dropped my cup after filling my drink, and spilled it all over the floor. Embarrassed, I quickly tried to clean up my mess. The woman who took my order was so gracious. She quickly came over with a mop and helped me clean up. It may not seem like much, but I was impressed.

Some of my favorite fries to get downtown. They are well seasoned, thick and crispy. The lunch special is a great deal for the amount of food you get and to choose your side! Another great special is the Greek burger. The patty itself is a mix of the beef and lamb, so it's really juicy and thick. They mix the tzatziki with feta cheese and smother that on the burger. The fresh tomato and onion is a great addition.

I ordered an Athenian lamb gyro and it was the worst sandwich I have ever eaten. I’ve gotten many gyros from other locations Athenian grill and they were wonderful this one was terrible. the meat was in water that whenever you put it on the bread it totally wet the bread and everything was Soggy. The meat just disintegrated it was horrible and the sandwich barely had any vegetables on it.

Terrible service. Ordered a greek salad to go. The lady was going to give us the scraps at the bottom of the container so we asked if we could get a fresh salad and she threw the to go container on the counter. Asked het cashier for some lemons and he asked her for some. She told him they didn't have any lemons. So rude were her looks at us. We will never go there again.
