Subway

Harsh to be told you can’t have any more napkins or paper towels to wipe off a table. One, it’s your job to not only fix the food but also clean the tables after someone eats. Two, the 🍪 cookies are not fresh. They where harder than concrete. The workers where bickering at first and they didn’t seem to get along. Just huffing and blowing. The older lady was nice today but other one was talking about how she can’t wait to go home. Leaving us to do her job so we can sit down. Food between the tables and lettuce all over the top of it. The sandwiches where good. The older lady fixed them. I wouldn’t know what to think if the other one had a chance to make them.

It's Subway and I wanted something refreshing to eat while I was running around doing errands in Lexington. This location was okay and was the closest to me when I was in the area. First it was a little slow to take our order, not complaining much there considering this is a popular restaurant. The staff is nice, but the noise level makes it hard to hear the order to make the sandwiches. The sandwich I ordered was a Subway Club and with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, on Italian Herbs and Cheese bread. The roast beef had a tough piece in it and I had to spit it out but overall the sandwich was made just the way I like it. The cookies were a little crunchier than other locations I have eaten at. The location was not clean as I am used to with other locations, with crumbs on the table and no napkin dispensers so I could clean it myself. So I had to choose a table that was somewhat clean towards the back of the restaurant. Overall it's a Subway restaurant, but nothing that I would be returning to on a regular basis.

Visited this location on July 17, 2020 @ approx 6:30pm. I was well aware of the not-so-great reviews, however, stopped in due to hunger! An employee held the door as she was exiting. My sandwich maker was in the middle of emptying a food item from a tray, stated she would, "be right with me" and she did. My sandwich order was correct and the transaction was pleasant. I would return to this location in the future.

Ordered the BLT through DoorDash. Picked exact items I wanted.. the dasher drops off the food and it’s completely wrong. I will not blame the dasher because they cannot open your food and check your sandwich. It is sealed. My meat was wrong, the veggies weren’t even correct. Sauce was all over the sandwich and on the wrapper. The bread was 100% not a foot long. It was very thing and not fully cooked. So sad. I’ve worked at subway, we would have gotten in a lot of trouble if we ever thought of serving something like this.

The cashier was nice at least. The black girl making the sub cheated me out of some meat until I questioned her about it, then she corrected part of it. She got an attitude when I asked her to remove the stems on the banana peppers but she did. She didn't say anything, but her whole body language changed. Customer service must be a lot harder than it used to be because I didn't realize it was hard to be nice to people and to not cheat them out of what they pay for. RIDICULOUS!!!!

I have had to call the owner about this location twice now in the 9 months I have lived in this city. I will never return after my experience tonight. This was one of the only times I have been there that the toaster actually worked, and they refused to sell me a foot long steak and cheese sub. They told me there was not enough so I said I guess a six inch is fine. And then they proceeded to sell another six inch steak and cheese sub to the people that walked in after me. This was not a pre ordered curbside pick up. They walked in and ordered just like I did. On top of this one of their employees was also sleeping in the lobby. I travel the United States constantly and this is one of the worst locations I have ever been to. Please do better. From now on I will drive fifteen minutes away and grab a sub from the location in pimlico pkwy because it’s clean, always has a working toaster and rarely do they run out of anything.
