Mr Brews Taphouse

Would recommend for a great beer selection and solid bar food. Went for Sunday lunch, sat at the bar and were in and out quickly (luckily the sign upon entering that said “beer with us, we’re short staffed” was a bit over exaggerated). Pretty good bar food, the chicken sandwich and the wings didn’t disappoint. Quick, friendly servers and a clean environment.

Have been to Mr. Brew’s twice now, the last two weekends. Absolutely loved the food. My burger and the sandwich I got were awesome. The appetizers are also great (get the armadillo eggs or pub grub tots.) My favorite thing about Mr. Brew’s is the craft beer selection. You can tell they love their craft beer and that was my main appeal. Incredible selection with over 55 different brews all on tap. Can’t wait to come back. One of my favorite places in Lex now! Super awesome joint to come have a cold brew, good food, and watch whatever game your heart desires. We went on a Friday night and it was not too crowded. We were able to get outdoor seating. I ordered a Keeneland fall ale, which was very good. This seems to be a good place to get local microbrews. I had the bourbon hamburger, which was excellent. Their fresh cut french fries are also great, and you get a very big basket. Plenty of free parking. The service was good and the prices are reasonable.

Fantastic array of drink options with refreshing twists and classic burger styles. Get a salad though because their house made cranberry dressing is spectacular! Also, the bartender I interacted with was extremely attentive and chatty when I wanted to be which made for a better overall environment for me. Extra money for a side or would be 5 star. #Picky

Quality bar food and good atmosphere for watching NFL games. My wife and I went to take in the Packers game after hearing the owner is from Wisconsin and always has the game playing. They had a great beer selection and their Wisconsin cheese curds are a must! Our only complaint was the fries could have gone just another minute in the fryer to crisp. No other complaints!
