All the good reviews have to be from minors. This place had way more 16-year-olds than 21+. There were fruit flies everywhere, I believe I got charged $8 for a pint of Guinness, the bartenders were not particularly interesting, the bar itself was sticky all over and I felt I couldn't put my hands on the tables. Just a really gross place, filled with children. One visit was enough.

I have been eating here since I first moved back to Kentucky in 2009 when I moved on campus and have been going ever since. Love ordering their O'Round burgers and beer whenever I get a chance to stop in. Definitely college dive bar feels but absolutely a place you have to check out while near UK. The burgers do not disappoint and you may get lucky enough to hear some local musicians play!

Cool dive bar. Friendly staff, well stocked on spirits, FANTASTIC draft beer selection. Looked to be around 20 beers on tap!!! Prices are very, very reasonable (under $5 a draft pint for most beers, some going to around the $4 mark) They often have music, and in the evenings it turns more into a college crowd (earlier it tends older and local). Food is good, if being served, and standard American from memory. The staff is amicable and serves efficiently. The one major downside to this place is the continually disgusting nature of the latrine (at least the men's)... flies are a problem... the staff is doing their best and clearly clean it to a maximal extent, but it is a losing battle against the weak stomachs of college-aged children. A bathroom attendant might save money and customer satisfaction in the long-run later at night...

One of the best and longest standing establishments in town! Great service and great food during the day but the college students tend to take over thursday night thru Saturday night. Don't let that deter you! Come check out sunday nights, you won't regret it if you like good music! Ask Dave (one of the most experienced barkeeps in town) to tell you some of his world famous poetry!
