Been going here for 4 years and it's consistently great. Have had some sensational tiki cocktails, some interesting house cocktails, and some well executed classics. And the bar itself is beautiful.

My wife and I decided to check this place out last night and we had the best time.
They have an amazing whiskey selection and the bartender Chris understands his craft, we had a few different drinks and made some new friends at the bar. The vibe was just right and no attitude.
If you’re looking for a bar that’s comfortable and inviting this is the spot, don’t bring an attitude cause you’re gonna kill my vibe.

One of my favorite bars in DC -- definitely not what you'd expect based on the name; the vibe is funky and the drinks are playful, thoughtful, and fun!
Update: still one of my favorite bars. The drinks have gotten even better, the crew who works here is the best, and the sandwiches shouldn't be slept on. Happy 9 years!

The BEST cocktails in town, this place is perfect for pre dinner or late night drinks. We’ve ordered everything from old fashioneds to espresso martinis, if theres a spirit in there, they can make it to perfection. They don’t really do food, but they’ve got all the popcorn and flavors you could want, like truffle and jalapeno. Definitely one of my favorite places to stop through for happy hour.

Great cocktail bar with knowledgeable staff who can throw something great together based on your desired tastes. They also do rotating themed menus - went when they had Barbie themed drinks, everything was pink and had edible glitter added, absolutely loved it!

Fantastic place for a few afternoon drinks away from crowds and heat. Great collection of whiskeys. Bartenders are a blast—we happened in on one of their birthdays and joined in the celebration. Will be returning on every trip back to town, felt like the best neighborhood bar!

McClellan's is a very unique cocktail bar, in DC or anywhere. Highly creative cocktails that are expertly crafted and served in equally differentiated glassware, and guided by highly knowledgeable staff often involved in the menu curation. The vibe is always energetic but not overwhelming, with Christmas lights adding a playful contrast to the dark and classic speakeasy decor.

Cozy bar with personality and rotating features, between DuPont and AdMo. The latest seasonal drinks are Barbie themed, and are naturally sweet and bright. Accordingly with the current movie release, you may find this spot busy after work or weekends, but it sets the scene well for socializing. Staff is friendly and service is prompt even with a full bar and tables.
