We went to have lunch. Its a bar that has really good burgers. The beer was a little wonky but we did have the first beer of the day. Bartender was awesome I believe her name was Nekia? We had a good time.

Carlos and Ricardo the two brothers are the best. The food here is fresh to order and authentic Latin and Anerican dishes. The fried wings and grand nachos best for drinking. Live band every Wednesday (EU Sugar Bear) Karaoke every Friday. Opens for lunch Monday -Friday.

This is the best karaoke bar scenery I've ever been to. The bartenders are awesome, the DJ be jamming, the owners are welcoming and last but not least, the wings and food be on point. Love this place!!

I love live music I love great drinks and I also love the nice little buffet that they have for you every Wednesday with the live bands maybe Thursday as well but check it out it's a great place for grown and sexy people that just like live music

If you love karaoke, come here Friday nights. It's one of the last downtown places you'll get a black experience, meaning karaoke with a huge selection of hip hop and R&B. You'll see people line dancing to the cha cha slide, cupid shuffle, chinese checkers, etc. The wings are large as well. The bartenders are great.

Omg this place was so much fun! We weren't sure what to expect when we went down a set of stairs into a small underground bar. But everyone there was friendly and welcoming, both the staff and the patrons. We tried the nachos and the barbecue buffalo chicken strips. It was all really good! I don't remember the name of their special cocktail but it was also excellent. We were there for Friday night karaoke and it was great!

Ok, free chicken wings during Thursday happy hour - that's enough right there. But there's more. The staff treats you like family, they play tasteful music that's not too loud to talk, and the other customers make you feel like you've known them forever. It's a comfortable, low key spot to meet friends. Wait, what's the name of the place again?? I love it here.

The staff knows me by name. The wonders are very nice people and their karaoke nights are always fun. Thy have good veggie options too. Their fried zucchini sticks are amazing.

Ricardo, Carlos and staff are my dear friends. For years The Meeting Place was my sure bet for lunch when my office was on Farragut North. Them we moved close to Union Station. On Tuesday I was in the area and ate and work from The Meeting Place. Great pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy. Delicious as always and the prices are reasonable.

Great karaoke spot but know your song and put it in early. The wait is bananas to get to your song. I love the drinks and the wings but if you're looking for an upscale place, keep it moving. This is dive bar but one of my fav dive bars. The people are fun, the singers are sometimes very good and sometimes AWFUL... but that's the charm of the place.
