Great brunch experience. Loved the Slavic beer. Prices were high ..even for DC…but worth the experience.
Reservations are a must. Trust your waiter..sit back and enjoy.

Met a friend here for quick meal with a friend. There were a lot of great vegetarian options. The food was seasoned well. The atmosphere was amazing. The decor was very nice as well. The staff was very kind and was eager to explain the menu options.

A good experience if you’re looking to try a lot of different Balkan-inspired dishes. Its unlimited tapas so come with an empty stomach. It’s hard to make every dish on such an expansive menu special but really appreciated the small serving sizes so you could try more variety. My favorite was probably the flatbread pizzas and the beef short rib goulash.

Wow!!! Took a party of 10 to Ambar on a Tuesday night. We ended up on the third floor of this restaurant and we all got the all you can eat dinner. Those not driving upgraded their meal to all you can drink as well.
The way the all-you-can-eat works is that when someone orders a tapas plate, they bring out enough of that plate for everyone. I was concerned that we weren't going to be served food fast enough to really get full, or that if someone else ordered something I didn't like that I'd have to wait for something good to come out. I was wrong. Food flowed consistently, they even did extras like giving me a bowl of my favorite dip just by itself. The service was excellent.
The food itself was tremendous. Super flavorful, enough to split among tables easily. The best winners were the lamb lasagna, and cevopi. They even gave us a free dessert. Absolutely recommend this spot.

This is THE brunch spot. Bottomless mimosas, unlimited food. What more do you need? There was more food than I can picture because you can select all you can eat for 2 hours. There were major hits and some misses but overall the food was great. I would particularly recommend the cinnamon donut and the salmon eggs Benedict. Get your friends and go!

Whenever we are in DC, we are returning to Ambar! My wife and I had a reservation for her birthday at 10:15 am to sit at the bar. Peter was tending the bar and was extremely attentive, polite and had a great presence at the bar. The food was delicious, fast to come out, and the beautiful plating. The drinks were quick to be poured, tasty, and a great selection. 10 out of 10 we will repeat.

Absolutely AMAZING!! All of the food was impeccably prepared and presented. The flavors were fantastic. My fave was the steak tartar. The great thing about this restaurant is that you can try everything because everything is brought out in small amounts on small plates and you can order as many plates as you want. This is definitely a 5 star dining experience.

Unlimited brunch was only $35, for unlimited delicious and quality food😋 favs were the cheese bread, burger and sour bread with melted nutella. Mina was so kind, assisting us with our baby stroller and making us feel welcomed. Vuk was very friendly and was helpful with the menu. Highly reccomend! We will be back

It was my first trying Balkan food! It was delicious and I love you can try whatever you want to eat. Small portions are enough and allowed to try the whole menu if you want.

I wouldn't say this was the best Balkan food experience but it is good. Good enough to recommend and go for second time. I went there for brunch with my family, we all had good time. Service is great, food is good, atmosphere is young and vibrant. Next time, I am planning to try lunch or dinner.
