Mastro's Steakhouse

Myself and my husband planned a day out for our anniversary and decided to try Mastros for dinner. This was our first time here. Miguel was our water and he made sure we were taken care of and we had everything we needed for our meal. We tried the bread basket, lime sushi roll, we both ordered steaks, mushroom & black truffle gnocchi, and Brussel sprouts with the bacon glaze. They gave us a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary and we also ordered the brown butter cake. Both were delicious!! It was the perfect dinner!! We will be back!!

Fantastic steak house! Great steaks cooked perfectly. Oysters on the half-shell were amazing! Truffled mushrooms and creamed spinach are great sides. The sides are large, perfect for sharing. Impeccable service. Great tasting drinks. This place can be a little pricey but it's great for special occasions.

Mastro's is an absolute top shelf fine dining experience. Yes they are expensive but they are absolutely worth it.Their prime strips are cut at almost 2 inches thick and just melt. If you have room the butter cake is heavenly. We were fortunate to hear a woman sing on a Friday night her voice was amazing. I want to thank Hannah and her team for taking care of us. She went out of the way to make sure even the under dressed guys wandering in had a special experience.

Delicious!!! Fresh, amazing, and definitely returning. I had the pleasure of ordering the pork chop, and it was amazing. Came with an apple, pecan glaze. The lobster mashed potatoes were heavenly. And my Dream berry martini was sweet and tasty. Overall, amazing dining experience and excellent wait staff. Well be returning soon.

Took clients out to Mastro's on our last visit as a family to Washington DC and had an overall fantastic time at the restaurant. We have dined at the NYC location many times as well and have never had a bad experience at this establishment. The service on the particular night we visited the DC location was amazing, and so was the company, food, & wine list!

My husband and I come for our birthdays, anniversary & celebratory moments. We’ve been to the one in Chicago too and have NEVER been disappointed. The steaks are always cooked to perfection and the accompanying butters (we did truffle & waygu) are delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes are thick and flavorful. Is it your first time? Get the butter cake for dessert, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking to try a new steakhouse & get a taste of fine dining in DC Mastros is a wonderful starter restaurant!
