Pizza Hut

I have been meaning to leave a review for this place, just took me awhile! This Pizza Hut was very accommodating for the dietary needs of me and my household. Accommodations were made once it was stated that the preference of white sauce versus red sauce was not due to preference but due to someone in our family having an allergy to tomato paste. When we went to pick up the pizza, we were met and helped in no time at all! Would definitely recommend!

I called & asked if it was possible to order for a delivery at 5 pm. I was assured it was possible so I placed an order. At 3:20 pm a delivery driver showed & I reminded him the food should not be ready yet. I then called the store & reminded them & was told they would make a new pie for delivery at ( as ordered. The delivery showed promptly at 5. There was no doubt the pizza that was delivered was the one sent at 3:20 & had just been kept warm. It was the worst pizza I have ever had. It was the new spicy pepperoni but it had such a small amount of pepperoni I’m not sure how it could be called a pepperoni pie. Never again will I order from this store.

Got a call saying no delivery driver for 4 more hours due to driver calling in. I’m pretty easygoing so. I agreed to let the delivery wait until 3pm when the next driver was scheduled to come in. I tried calling at 3:40 when I have heard nothing. Call rolled to the customer service line where I was told “I can’t get ahold of them, so I’m guessing they have your order. There is nothing more I can do”. My card has been charged and I have no idea if there will be pizza or not. A very poor customer experience. I get call outs but communication is key!

When I get a free pizza with points from domino’s, there’s no “$10.99” minimum order for delivery. They just deliver whatever I order. And it comes in about 30 minutes, not an hour and a half. Not the case with Pizza Hut I guess. Even tho I prefer the pizza hut pizza, I don’t think I will ever order from Pizza Hut again. There are WAY too many pizza options available to accept bad service from any of them.

Ordered at 610 PM January 7 and Joshua the driver told me they got slammed with 50 orders in 45 minutes and 4 drivers had Covid so only 5 drivers he said. The kitchen and delivery staff at S.Campbell Springfield, Mo are awesome!! We received our order on time and it was fresh and hot even though they were short staffed and super busy.
