First time sampling the "Morning Glory," which was exquisite. Fresh coffee and danishes. There is in fact a vitrine full of pastries for purchase whole or in slices. Friendly older waitstaff, which always indicates a wholesome work environment. Bathroom tight but clean. Parking ample in the front and on the side. Booths very comfortable, with room for up to three smaller persons on each side. In December 2021, Larry Sharpe stopped at this location on campaign for NY Governor.

We really enjoyed every food item, and the "old school" diner ambiance. The wait staff were great and all the food came out quickly, but not rushed, so we could enjoy our soup before the entrees arrived without a long wait after we finished our soups.

Had a fantastic waittress named Kelly who was informative, helpful, happy and excellent at her job. Food was hot and tasty. The salad, burger, fries and onions rings were outstanding, but the piece de resistance was the Bavarian Cheescake! I will be back again soon!

I bought a limoncello sheet cake for my daughter’s lemon themed bridal shower in Connecticut on Sunday, 5/1/22. The cake was beyond delicious. Everyone loved it. People were asking where they could buy that. They were sad to know it came from New York instead of Connecticut where they could easily get it. The shower was beautiful and the cake was the ultimate perfect end to a perfect celebration. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the service was at the bakery and of course, the finished product. I am so happy with everything. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant in Schenectady!! The food is amazing. The service is great. Everything is homemade and scrumptious! Their desserts are wonderful as well. I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Pie! Please go and enjoy!

This cozy gem in Schenectady had great seating and a wonderful diner selection. I hit them up for breakfast during a swim meet and was treated to a picture perfect plate of biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. The coffee was excellent and the refills were frequent and regular. If you don't want to hazard people, they have take out and a counter.
The bakery is packed with a massive selection, from hand-made cinnamon rolls, cakes, cupcakes, and bak lava alongside cheesecakes, pies, and cakes. If you're looking to bring something sweet to a little gathering, or hoping for some comfort food in these trying times, the Blue Ribbon earns its namesake. I'd come back here time and again, just to work my way through the display case.

Just finished eating a cupcake. It was a little dry. May I make a suggestion...a little oil in your batter. If you are using water, don't. Milk or almond milk. Maybe add more liquids?For the price, I would like it to be a little less dry. I brought 4, so I am a little worried how they are going to taste?! I'll warm it a little and this will help. PS the frosting was delicious.

My boyfriend’s family and mine had a meet up here. Portions are huge, food is very tasty no matter what you get. Blue Ribbon doesn’t disappoint you in any food that you get here. Did I mention the staff are phenomenal too?
