Thai La-ong

We ordered the chicken cashew and the mixed seafood pepper and garlic lunch special today. The seafood was cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy. It tastes absolutely amazing and reminded me of the flavours you get in Thailand. Very authentic cuisine and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a cheap eat with full flavour. I would definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu.

What a mess! Bought take away curry for lunch. Take away container wasn’t closed properly and it wasn’t sealed (ie, some glad wrap soup or curry containers). With the curry leaking everywhere, the paper bag didn’t last long. Made it back to the office with an emergency reusable bag that saved the food from the sidewalk. Sadly, it didn’t really help the mess and there’s now a trail of Thai Green Curry around Parramatta. A trip to the dry cleaners also required. What was left of the food was ok.

This place used to be good when it first opened but recently the food is below average. Twice now I have dined in and ordered takeaway twice the food was burned. And instead of tasting the amazing flavours the spices and food I was smelling burning smell when eating. Asked for a refund from Menulog. BEWARE!!! not sure if the owners have changed or they have a new cook but the food is below average now! See photo for further details.

Poor experience Fish Cake ($10) - Has 4 pieces of fish cake, extremely oily, unhealthy, not tasty at all, very disappointed. We had to press the fish cakes with tissue to get the oil out, the tissue was full. How can fish cakes go wrong? coconut ($6) - Taste was average but i found it a little pricy, overall okay Overall pricy place and quality was disappointing. Hope you make it better!

I don't really recommend their Thai Fried Rice. I had a mixed entree plate before the main meal. That was pretty decent to be honest. But sadly their typical fried rice is something that you shouldn't try and it's not a something you would expect as a Thai Fried Rice. They use a yellow to green colour sauce for the fried rice which makes the meal looks like a pesto risotto.
