Just wanted to say thank you for all the years of your delicious cakes!! They are truly special. I’m holding out an impossible hope that you will try to stay open. We’ve had boonzaijers at every milestone in our family, from graduation, bridal & baby showers, to our baby’s 1st birthday. Happy to stop by today to be able to get my hands on anything you had. A super clean, and interesting little bakery hidden in an out of the way place in Kalamazoo; filled with about what you'd expect, lots of cakes and assorted little pastries and staffed by obvious professionals. I stopped by on a whim out of curiousity, amd would absolutely stop by again for their crispy Mocha-Hazelnut pastry with a name I can't quite remember how to spell. But it tasted fantastic and priced fairly, which is much more important than what it's called. You should definitely stop in and see what they have for yourself!

Just stopped by for a quick pick up, never been before but it's my girlfriends favorite. I could smell all the goodies from outside 😩 Picked a 6 in red velvet, they offered to put some lettering on it. GORGEOUS. JUST GORGEOUS. Could smell it all the way home, cannot wait to cut into this beauty later. It won't stand a chance 😂❤️

The staff here is WONDERFUL. I called in from several states over to organize cakes for a wedding. I worked with Deb over phone and e-mail and her and the team created five cakes for me of various sizes to create a multi-cake display which turned out beautifully! They did the cakes and frosted them and I added flowers at the venue. Pricing is very reasonable. Cake flavors are pretty good. Several options which I mixed and matched proving a good various for wedding guests and people really liked that. The flavors are definitely a little more subtle that I usually bake, but the textures were pleasing! They use nice sturdy boards which allows for less risk in transporting. We also got a couple smaller pastries because they looked so yummy at pickup - so yummy! I got a mini eclair bite and I kind of wish I’d just gotten the big one. Overall I would definitely go back if I’m in the area!

They did an absolutely amazing job on my custom gender reveal cake. I emailed a picture of what I was thinking in terms of design and they did it perfectly. I asked that they keep it a secret and ensure the cake is covered for pickup and we had no issues. The cake tasted so yummy and the Bavarian filling is to die for. I’ll be getting my cakes from there from now on.
