Please order the empanadas because they are so delicious and perfect with a glass of their local red wine. The tempura mix and calamari is also unforgettable paired with a glass of Aragón Macabeo Chardonnay. Service was quick, small tapas bar, customers were happy and friendly including me!

We got in pretty late, about 30 minutes before they close, but the owner was happy to welcome us as his last party was departing. This is a one man show and it's amazing how much he can do at once. Very welcoming and pleasant person and environment. Everything here was €4 or less which was great for some quick eats. He has a good selection of wines and a few beers. The selection of empanadas was pretty good with a few different meats including lamb. We ordered a spicy beef (carne picante) and lamb (de ternasco) empanadas as well as pajaritos de la huerta and two drinks. He quickly got everything made and out to us. It was great to actually make everything right there in the tiny kitchen. The food was great, as most fried foods are delicious, but definitely more of a gourmet touch here. The sauce on the pajaritos was great balance to the onion. The spicy beef empanada was really good with a nice amount of heat. The lamb empanada was my favorite though, nice rich flavor that is unmistakable. This is a great place just a couple blocks from the Plaza del Pilar and it should be on your list.
Our family visited El Angel del Pincho on a hot Sunday night in June and were early and lucky enough to have this small local gem to ourselves for a while. Duncan helped us understand the empanada and tempura menus and we managed to work our way through both, enjoying everything we tried and returning for seconds and thirds of our favorites. We have been in Spain for six days, and this was by far the best meal we have had, made better by Duncan's patience with our high school Spanish and his generosity educating us on the local food, wines and beers. Would give El Angel 10 stars if possible. I only wish we were here longer to enjoy the great food, company and atmosphere again!
Poco más se puede decir de un sitio limpio, de come y bebe bien, y te atienden con gusto. Recomiendo si lugar a dudas los Takoyakis, alucinantes. La fritura también muy rica y el vermout hace muy bien su trabajo. Venid y dejad propina.
Mi sitio favorito de Zaragoza, empanadillas buenísimas, la tempura increíble y las gyozas y takoyaki están genial!

Obligatorio probar un producto de la tierra aragonesa como es la borraja, con el toque de la tempura.
Muy muy buenos los pajaritos, y también las empanadas.
Sitio pequeño, así que hay que ir pronto o comerlo en la calle si hay mucha gente, pero hay que probarlo.

RECOMENDADO. Genial descubrimiento. De todos los sitios donde estuvimos nos pareció el mejor. Nada que envidiar a los populares. Pinchos riquísimos, productos de la tierra, empanadillas muy ricas… pero la tempura de verdura supera a todo. Tb destacar precio y sobre todo el trato, muy amables y simpáticos. Salimos encantados y repetiremos. Paso obligado, seguro que no te arrepientes.
Impresionante tempura. Una se sus especialidades, las borrajas en tempura. No las perdais. Yo habria repetido varias veces. Otro plato riquisimo que agradecer a mi amiga que me lo descubrio ayer. Volveré...
Un sitio muy curioso. De verdad que la comida brutal. Todo en su punto desde los vegetales hasta el pollo al estilo pichu y el maridaje con la salsa picante que tiene un toque cítrico una explosión de sabores.

Vale la pena probar alguna de las empanadillas, la de mozzarella con tomate y orégano y carne picante muy ricas. El karaoke de pollo también muy rico. Atención muy correcta.
