I really enjoyed my order from this place. The salmon was fresh and tender and the sushi rice was perfect. What else can you ask? I’ve definitely had worse food from pricier sushi places in DC.

Nothing fancy here, but it's inexpensive, tasty and reliable. Every order anyways arrives the same: safe quality and never cold. Their lunch menu can't be beat. A full sushi lunch with sides for under $11!

Eat here often on Uber—it’s amazing and delicious. Good portion size too. I would recommend the combo sushi... you get three rolls for the price of one. Spider roll is also awesome—not as big portions but delicious and crunchy

This place is my favorite sushi spot in the city. Consistently, everything is FRESH and great quality. I’ve eaten here about 10 times and not had a bad food experience once. Always delicious, always presented well, always consistent flavor and taste.
I will say, in terms of customer service, that the staff can be a little...short tempered when you go to order, but for the quality of the food, this is easily overlooked. Id recommend looking at the menu in advance.
I’d also recommend getting sushi there, though there are many equally delicious options available (pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken, many others) because it’s one of the better sushi spots in the city. Spicy maki combo platter is my go-to.

I’ve only done takeout but it was quick and contactless. Sushi was fresh. They have good prices for their sushi rolls and their combos are a great deal!

My chirashi bowl had a flower in it. Everything was delicious and fresh. It had white rice, shrimp, tuna, salmon among other fish sashimi I wasnt sure exactly what it was but it was delicious. Everything came fast the service was good. This bowl was a decent size for 16 but its also one of the pricier things on the menu. I recommend it to anyone

This place is nothing fancy, but I often pop into the Sushi Bar for fast, fresh sushi. They are already super cheap, but their sushi lunch specials are a major steal. They are also very quick when doing delivery or take out- my food is always ready early.
Insider Tip: Their shrimp tempura rolls come with avocado in them!

It feels like they never clean the tables so it's always sticky but even still it's one of my fave spots for Asian cuisine. If I'm in a rush I'll order sushi rolls to go but if I have time I'm definitely going for the salmon Bento box! It's about a block away from Columbia Heights Metro Station so it's extremely convenient.

I love Shanghai Tokyo cafe. Their food is super fresh and delicious. It is well made and the employees are attentive and friendly. Sushi options are great. Major plus that they are opened until 10:30pm during the weekday.
