Tucked into the historic Henley Hotel, Blue Bar is one of those hidden enclaves in DC that you stumble upon and wonder why no one ever mentioned it before. It curls and extends into nooks and crannies yielding itself to group gatherings and secret moments. Having to go to the bar to order anything is a hassle, but makes it easy to keep separate checks. The bartender was nice, but accidentally overcharged us. They have a great happy hour, oddly enough, and a piano should you care to tickle the ivories. A really great spot to take a date or meet up with friends. Old school and classy,
