Excellent and worth the try. Taste just right and food portion is on spec.

I came here for an early lunch on a Friday and there was no wait for a seat. I got the spicy seafood don, and it was really delicious although I wouldn't personally call it spicy! My friends got the mackerel and the unagi and really enjoyed their food as a well. If sake is your thing, I saw that their house sake is reasonably priced. It does seem like their bartender isn't there for lunch so keep that in mind if you're thinking to get a cocktail.

Amazing experience. The food and service was great. I was greeted pleasantly with an easily accessible menu. I went early afternoon and was seated immediately.
I ordered ramen and sushi which were both 5Star taste and presentation. The waitress was respectful and polite. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Most fresh wasabi I have had AND seen.

Tasty Japanese pub bite dishes. The Hokka fish was surely worth it as not much restaurants serve this.
Small, cozy, no-frill ambience. Great place to swing by after work for some drinks and food with friends. Only comment would be they should have more choices of Japanese draft beer.

Loved it here! I've been missing Japanese food since moving back to America. They dont have a Japanese menu here just fyi. Food was so good I forgot to take pictures!

This is an unpretentious Japanese restaurant right along M St. The menu has some nice traditional Japanese dishes, but no sushi. That's ok because it's fun to go outside of the box sometimes.
The fish is very fresh and delicious. The salmon in the salmon and ikura donburi is plentiful and buttery. The ikura is the best we've had in a restaurant in recent memory. The miso soup and seaweed salad were nice. The salad was crunchy and not over-spiced or too liquidy, as is the case in many places.
It is not necessarily charming or a "go to" location, but the food is delicious and the price very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Food felt just a tad bit under sized for the price but a great selection of Japanese foods you won't commonly find at typical sushi restaurants. Food was good and served timely. Waitress was nice and attentive.

Small restaurant but really just a nice variety of stuff - not your typical Japanese or Sushi place! Enjoyed the choices. Quick and friendly staff.,

Great for lunch. The lunch menu is mostly donburi but they do have specials. The sashimi is fresh and the place is not too loud. Great for business lunch.

Great happy hour sushi and ramen selection. Food is reasonably priced. Place gets really packed in the evenings
