Officina At The Wharf

Our first time there. You were celebrating August birthdays. Most of our food came rather fast. It was hot and fresh tasting. I saw the making the pasta from scratch. I came with a large party that I invited to try out the restaurant and check out the wharf. It was a very busy time. It was doing the hip hop weekend in the city. Lots of people out and about walking around the wharf Trying to find parking took a while so be prepared.. no validation of parking. The location is easy to find. Pricey to park unless you can get one of those free valet parking spaces which are very limited. A great place to take a photo shoot during the night or day!

We came for the half off pasta night on Wednesday and for the price it's honestly not bad! We had a res for 4 people and they seated us inside. There is an offer for a 1/2 carafe for $26 as well. It may be even better to try and go Wednesdays from 5-7pm to get both the half off pasta dishes and happy hour drink prices. I got the bucatini which was in a tomato sauce with pancetta and pecorino. It was pretty good and the portion was good. It was enough to finish in one sitting when full price the portion would be a little bigger. Overall it was good, but I think only worth it on Wednesdays when it's half off. I'd say 3/5 for food but service was good and it's in a great location at the wharf. Food came out pretty quick and waiters kept coming by to refill our waters.

Officina at the Wharf is a nice place to dine if you want to have a relatively higher end dining experience. We were sat at terrace which was very nice as it was close to water. Staff were quite friendly. We went there on Wednesday when they have certain menu items for half price. 3 out of 5 people including myself were quite happy with the food and taste👌. The size of the dish may seem small at the first glance but after eating I understood that the portion was just right. Drink on the other hand were a bit pricy. Overall great experience.

Overall decent experience,however, could have been better. We were placed in the sun for some reason when there were plenty of empty spots. Service could be slightly better. If not food prices and quality were reasonable and we were there when all pasta dishes were 50% so that was nice. Recommended for a reasonable meal but nothing special.

Stopped by after a great dinner for a drink. Granted my better half and I are not ones who go out drinking we were having a great time. The bartenders were very accommodating with our specific requests. The atmosphere was really nice. We were the oldies there lol but we sat down and had our drinks and enjoyed winding down our evening.

Would I visit here again? Probably not. The service was to be expected with 2 servers. I like sweet wine and the wine recommended to me was not sweet at all. I could tell they have a large selection as they are connected to a "market" where you can buy wine. The market also has their own kitchen that serves pizza. This place is not kid friendly in the sense of no kids menu and no kids portions. I brought my 5 year old here and he got spaghetti. I am not super impressed by this place. I do think it's a good lunch place, but not dinner place.
