Historic place for the traveler

The building is a typical government building. Some of the members of congress have "stuff" stuck to there doors showing where they stand on issues. Can people disagree on views and still be friends? The family and I visited our congressman today. What a humbling experience.

This really is one of the more ornate Office buildings I've ever been in! It's very cool to see the art deco chandeliers and elevator doors and a lot of beautiful wood paneling in the hallways. The one thing I thought it could use in comparison to the Senate Office buildings is some work on the inter courtyard. The inter Courtyard is just a rooftop. It seems they could at least do some sort of rooftop garden to make it look more attractive.

Office building for multiple Members of the House of Representatives. Several committee hearing rooms and meeting places. Good cafeteria with an adjacent DD to kill some time between meetings.
