So good. I got one of the Italian sandwiches and it was everything I hoped for. The place itself is very clean.

Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. I was in DC on vacation and stopped here for lunch on the weekend. It is in walking distance from the National Mall, but just far enough that there's not a ton of tourists!

I had a great sandwich with quality meats and other ingredients. The bread was very fresh and the turkey was fresh sliced, REAL turkey and not the pressed garbage.
The staff was courteous and efficient, the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food, and the entire restaurant was very clean. I love the fact that they have complimentary sparkling water, that was a very nice touch.
If I am ever in the area, I would definitely return without hesitation.

Went with some work colleagues for lunch. Seemed like a nice place. Plenty of places to sit-- although many of the seating places are the new bar style high tables where you feet dangle. How did that ever become popular?

I'm not usually a huge sandwich person, but I enjoyed the genoa salami sandwich far more than I expected. Sandwiches are slightly on the smaller side compared to other places I've been, but high quality ingredients and well-seasoned.

It was really quite good. I'm usually disappointed with veggie sandwiches but these had great toppings. Service was quick too.
I'd certainly go back were I ever in the area again.

Excellent bread and soup. Clean, fast and fresh. Reasonably priced for lunch in downtown DC near all the tourist spots. Restrooms were clean.

I went into White Apron as a skeptic. I looked at the menu and their sandwiches didn't seem unique and after all, how good can sandwiches be?! After one lunch at White Apron, I walked out a fan. I ordered one of their popular sandwiches- Provencal. It was filling and for having only a few ingredients, it tasted really good.
If you go during the lunch hour (12-1PM) on a week day, it may be hard to find seating and if you do, it's cramped.

Good and interesting sandwiches. I had the Italian sandwich and it proved to be a yummy choice. The atmosphere is nice and they have three different kinds of water (room temp, cold, carbonated) "on tap!"
