Dolmas, falafel and tabouli salad are all excellent! I order from Mama Ayesha’s regularly and it’s always fresh and delicious.

I loved the food but I found the plates a bit small and simple, too little rice and just a little bit of onions. Dishes should have more rice, onions, some bread and a some kind of sauce like yogurt for the price. Beef, lamb and chicken is amazing, recommended.

The Mural outside was absolutely beautiful!! The atmosphere inside Mama Ayesha's was beautiful, warm and authentic. The music was also authentic and soothing! The service was attentive and warm and hospitable!! My wife had the Mouzat and the lamb was cooked to perfection!! I had the Musakan and the flat bread and half chicken was amazing both me and my wife cleaned our plates!! I strongly recommend everybody try Mama Ayesha's. We will definitely be back!!

I’ve been going to Mama Ayesha’s for almost 20 years. It continues to be amazing, authentic homestyle middle eastern food at affordable prices. If this place actually knew how to market itself on social media (IG and TikTok) as a “hidden gem” to the new generation it would be packed since the food, atmosphere and service are all great.
Here’s hoping for another 60 years in business!

A great place to enjoy some a middle eastern meal in DC. Very, very friendly staff, and they will keep checking if you need anything.
There is a very nice wall painting outside of Mama Ayesha's of some of the US presidents and you can take some pictures after your meal 😜

Wonderful, wonderful food with exceptional service! What a find - we discovered this place as we walked down the street and, on impulse, decided to give it a try. Best decision of the night. The people were so friendly and the food ... so delicious. I would absolutely recommend Mama Ayesha's for vegans and meatavores alike.

We decided to visit for dinner during a work trip tonight area and looking for Mediterranean style food. Walking up, there was some questions as to whether the restaurant was open or not. Thankfully, we figured out it was, and had a fantastic meal. Mama Ayesha's serves Palestinian food. I ordered the kafta. A few in our group we're looking for vegetarian dishes and Mama Ayesha did not disappoint. The food was wonderful. The service was great. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable.
