Chef Geoff's - New Mexico Ave.

Christopher here... I have been enjoying Chef Geoff’s for 15 years. Bravo CG team. Wonderful ambiance, menu (that changes a little seasonally), and staff. Favorites over the years are the lamb kofta, Cadillac Caesar, fried mozzarella (when in season), and eggs Chesapeake (Sunday Brunch). The chicken parm is dynamite and the consistency and quality of everything on the menu is second to none. While I am not Tom Sietsema with the Washington Post, I am Christopher Hauser and proudly and enthusiastically proclaim Chef Geoff’s a Top pick in the city. Tuesdays are half price burgers and hands down best quality and value in city. The mocktail and beer selection is superb and don’t forget the patio is dog friendly. My beloved retrievers love Chef Geoff’s treats (and bacon) and dining in spring and summer on the patio is just delightful. Bravo Chef Geoff’s. 12/10

@chefgeoffsrestaurant Starting off Decem-BAR strong with this excellent Happy Hour! ✨️ Tamarind smash: $10 Great drink, would recc for bourbon fans. ✨️ Cranberry basil sangrai: $10 Sangria is my usual. This is a great pop of flavour to a classic drink. ✨️ Caramelised onion dip: $8 I live for dips, so this was a great sharable option for HH. ✨️ Mama Mia! Slider: $5 DELISH, perfect bite if something whilst enjoying a bevvy. ✨️ Cheese pizza pie: $10 Classic, great HH addition/ easy to share. 🏆 Butternut & ricotta ravioli: $22 Decadent and full of home-y flavour. ✨️ Olivado: $15 Beautiful drink with warm flavours. WOOOW 🤩 Chef Geoff’s and his amazing team made our Thanksgiving celebration with friends and family so wonderful. The original cocktails made by awesome bartenders, exceptional dishes handcrafted by their chefs, and the most memorable service. Thank you all for creating a beautiful atmosphere to share with the community and their loved ones from afar. ♥️🎉

Food here is unbelievable. The first time I came here, I had the Black Bean Burger. It was out of this world. Perfect seasoning provided lots of flavor. More recently, I had the Chicken Milanese. It was moist and tasty, and was served with a delicious arugula salad. Great atmosphere with friendly service.

FIVE STARS! This was our second time eating at Chef Geoff's. It had been several years between visits. The restaurant is much better than we recall. While we enjoyed it very much on our first visit, we had brunch this time with what we were told was a new and expanded menu. The food was excellent. I had a BLT with grilled chicken - not a typical add-on to a BLT, but is was amazing! Grilled chicken can sometimes be dry and usually I am disappointed, but this chicken was tender and delicious. Another reason why we enjoyed our visit was due to our server Kaitlin. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about the new brunch menu. In fact, she seemed downright EXCITED about it. She said she had tried several of the new menu items and thus could speak knowledgeably about their preparation. The food was great but, our service was excellent. Kaitlin's service set Chef Geoff's brunch apart from other D.C. spots.
