I've been coming here for close to seven years. Bottom Line is an essential stop when I'm traveling to Washington for work. The last of a dying breed of true DC boozers. Good food, cold drinks, and great staff. None better than Big Al himself.

Came in for a few drinks because the reviews said this was a really friendly place. And it absolutely is. Food was good, bartender was terrifically friendly and accommodating. Beers were cold.

I'm not much of a drinker, but my partner is and he really loved the vibe of this bar and went there multiple times on our trip. It's a super homey bar. I went and had a hamburger and fries, no complaints. Next time I will try the French onion soup.

Cozy bar tucked in an English basement. Bartenders were very friendly and outgoing. Felt very welcome as a newcomer.
I was there for game dey and had the Cincinnati chili. Not bad for cincy chili in DC. Would highly recommend as a place to catch a Bengals game or a spot to hang with friends.

What a great experience! Chuck, the bartender was unbelievably great, he's 's a super multitasker! He never missed checking on us or the other patrons! Great atmosphere! Won't miss stopping here next time in town.

One of the best dive bars in DC! Food and drinks are always great and affordable. Service and bartenders are friendly and attentive. Good music, space at the bar or tables and even outside seating. My go to bar for years!

The Bottom Line is a nice bar without unique features but with good food and pretty wide assortment of beers.

It will depend on certain waiter but we were lucky to have a nice gentleman serving us. It was perfect attention level, not too much and not too few. He couldn't answer all my questions about beer or food details. But it didn't matter to me. 5/5

The bar has both counter seats and tables. So you will definitely find the most comfortable option to sit. Decorations are usual and can't impress you at all. 3/5
Food
Food wise it will be choice between classical entries (burgers, wraps, sandwiches) and common bar snacks. Kitchen works till 10 pm. Food is very good here. 4/5

Any the most popular cocktails and about 30+ beers are available for order here. You will find classic beer selection and some exotic ones as well. Which makes this place very appealing for beer lovers. 5/5

The food was delicious and the service was great. There was a bit of a wait for the food due to a printer error but it was worth it. I had the burger with Swiss and bacon and it was cooked exactly as I had ordered it. The fries were nice and crispy and had the right amount of seasoning. I'm sure I'll be back in the future.
