Great food! Just try to go for lunch, as the prices were better. It is a bit pricey for dinner. The wine is mostly by the bottle, but they have one white and one red by glass. The pour is small. So either buy a bottle or don't get any. Too expensive. The owner is super nice and will greet every patron. It feels like you are at a neighborhood business. 😃

The food is quite tasty. The dishes we had were very heavy, but if you like that it's a great place. The real charm and appeal, though, is how much it feels like you've left DC as soon as you walk in. It's a cozy, friendly Italian restaurant that could be in any sleepy town. You can't even hear the street.

One of the best Italian restaurants! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. They make sure that you have a good time especially when its not too crowded. Food is just absolutely delicious and the portions are large. Their cannolis are out of this world - the best. Its our go-to restaurant to celebrate special occasions.

ABSOLUTE A MUST, completely recommend, & plan on stopping again! Place smelled a little musty, and could use some decor upgrades (they have garlic as decor?) BUT the owner was the host, very attentive. We were seated immediately, waited on immediately (there were 2, also very attentive waiters). The meal was AMAZING- warm, thoroughly cooked, delicious, moist, the cuts of sausage I had in my dish were evenly cut. For two pasta dishes, one was the Sausage penne, the other the seafood pasta- it was $53. Amazingly priced, great service, even gave a free taste test of the dessert wine (they carded, I didn't get any bc I'm 20- but my boyfriend, who is 23, said it was amazing). ---I wish to add a photo of my dish, but I cannot find how to input it. Either way, the dish was beautifully displayed, and was just top-tier.

While visiting DC my friend and I had dinner here. The atmosphere was very cozy and quiet. The food was amazingly authentic and the service was second to none. It was quite busy and the only table available was for two but located directly inside the front door. We were seated there only momentarily when our waiter moved us to a much better table near a window. This restaurant is an amazing date night spot!

Classic Italian fare with a minimum of frills. This place has been here forever, I used to go back in the 90s. Red checkered tablecloth and a menu of Italian favorites. Nice location in Dupont Circle and a friendly wait staff. My wife had the tortellini with cream sauce which was good if a little heavy. My veal was tender and tasty.

Great hidden Italian Restaurant that we tried after looking for something kid-friendly, affordable, and within walking distance. Place has been around for over 30 years. Roberto our waiter was excellent! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and even better food. Wine selection was limited but overall we were very pleased and will be coming back/recommending in the future!
