Fire & Sage

Outstanding menu options. My entire family enjoyed it. We received exceptional customer service. They mixed fruit juice drinks for my kids. During one meal, my daughter ordered fresh fruit. Our server told her he knew something that would really make it taste good and brought her back a cup of whipped cream. She was more than happy. The salads were awesome. Evening happy hour specials were great. Great synergy among the staff. The host was always nice and checked on us in addition to the server. You can view the kitchen and chefs cooking which was cool. We’re staying at the Marriott. The kids wanted to try other food however the last two days chose Fire and Sage for each meal.

I had my doubts about a 17 dollar Reubin, and a 32 dollar Scallop dinner, but they were well worth the exorbitant Washington DC price. The scallops were large and seared to perfection, and the potatoes and spinach blended perfectly with the bacon garnish. Really a good dinner - much better than I expected at a hotel restaurant.
