Plume At The Jefferson, Dc

Fantastic tasting menu! Although the theme was duck, I was a little surprised for a restaurant of this caliber to serve duck on 3 of the 4 dishes. The wine pairing was fantastic and every bite was an explosion of flavors. I will remember the consume for a long time. One negative comment was that the wine pours were a little light. We ordered the wine pairing ($160/person), although the selection was descent (but certainly not mind blowing), it wasn't worth the money - not even close. The service was good but unremarkable; the staff did not seem interested in small talk and remained professional at all times.

Very nice upscale restaurant with a relaxing, intimate atmosphere. Service was impeccable; what you should expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The dishes we ordered were very good, but not memorable. I expected more for the cost of dining at Plume. Tip: Get the Jefferson cocktail (I believe this is name). The table side preparation and taste is worth the $$$$.

This was one of the most amazing meals I've ever had. We ordered off the prix fixe menu, and it was so much more than we expected. There were courses upon courses of surprises that went so far beyond our menu selections, and we even left with a package of sweets to go. Service is incredible and the ambiance was beautiful. It is expensive, but in my opinion it was extraordinarily reasonable for the quality of food and the experience. We now have a must go destination for food in DC.

Everything was perfect, from the service staff to the food. The moment you pull up, it’s a wonderful, high class experience. Their wine list is vast and the Malbec ordered was smooth. Ordered the wagyu for an start, and the entire experience was fun, from watching the broth boil, to having the server pour it over the wagyu to cook. The bison loin was delicious and perfectly cooked, as was the filet. Dessert was delicious and was slightly bittersweet breaking the mold. Cannot wait to come back and visit.

Plume lives up to their reviews. Great customer service. Food was very prompt with a detail explanation of the ingredients and history. Wish I recorded how they prepare the 1200 Manhattan. The mix the drink Infront of us and the best part was how they infused the glass with the herbs . Great experience, will definitely be back.
