The service was doubly attentive to begin and all our needs were taken care of. I had the most tender and only octopus I've ever eaten and tried some of my dining companions escargot - again a first for me. I chose the rabbit leg for my main, based on the delightful experience with the starter and enjoyed gently shredding the tender meat from the bone. Seriously, this is not for vegans. All told, it was a wonderful dining experience and I would gladly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Eastern Market and looking for something a little special.

We had such a wonderful brunch here. The sangria was delicious and the prices were SO reasonable (especially for DC). Its a great spot to grab a bite before hitting the Eastern Market for some shopping. We tried the Croque Madame which was excellent, as well as the pork sandwich which was so unique and recommended by the waiter. The entire table enjoyed the meal. I would definitely come back - delicious classic French food at a good price in a great location.

Nice Bistro restaurant with excellent food. Service was great, food came out fast, staff was ready to recommend favorites. Just an absolute gem of a restaurant. I had the seafood stew and the wife had scallops. I have paid a lot more at other places for much worse food. I highly recommend.

How kind of them to allow us to stay an hour after closing and enjoy our meal. The food was fabulous and the staff did not rush us. We love dining here with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Always special.

Five stars. The duck was to die for, the wine delish, the service top notch.
Only issue I saw was a couple of folks on the line preparing food with their hair completely uncovered - including the head chef.
Super crowded/noisy/small. Looked popular.
