Broderick Roadhouse Walnut Creek

I had high hopes for this restaurant but the flavor from the patty was lacking. A good burger for me has flavor in every bite and the boar burger, Johnny cash, and Gorgonzola did not have the burst of flavor I was expecting. The portions were average. The garlic fries were tasteful (pictured in the first image). The drink pictured below was AMAZING (if you like sweet drinks). Our waitress Tara was funny and helpful. They gave our birthday girl a free ice cream sandwich.

Cute restaurant with a full bar. American food, serves mostly sandwiches and burgers. No, they do not have a private parking lot. Must park on metered parking or a parking garage. They have outside and inside dining available. The food was very good and tasty. I love their garlic fries, it looked like it was smothered with garlic butter because I didn’t see any garlic chunks and the aroma wasn’t too strong. Buffalo cauliflower was good too. For my main meal I ordered the salmon club sandwich. Salmon tasted fresh and was big enough for two. I thought It was a bit pricey for a lunch but I guess I can’t complain since the food was good ;).

Broderick Roadhouse is a great place to stop for really tasty food and friendly service. Lots of rich and indulgent apps, burgers and more. The cheese curds are a must try if you love fried cheese and their dipping sauce is a wonderful compliment. I love how many meat options they offer for burgers and at the same time, they have various salads and vegetarian options. All dishes are served as generous portions, including the kids menu items. Indoor seating offers tables with chairs and/ booth seating with AC to accommodate various party sizes. There is plenty of outdoor seating in front and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Last but not least, they have two all gender bathrooms that they keep clean and smelling nice.

Came for dinner w/the future wife. For drinks we ordered the hot daisy and the el fuego I believe. Both were pretty good, although I preferred the hot daisy and she preferred the el fuego. We got the bacon mac & cheese which was delicious. For entrees, she ordered the fish tacos which she liked and I got the duck burger...it was ok. Some bites were better than others. I'd go back and try a different burger. Nice atmosphere w/indoor and outdoor seating.
