Dragon's Pond

Tried the chicken cashew/ broccoli, Mongolian beef entrees with potstickers and beef sate for appetizers, it was delicious. Finally New York style Chinese food, after so many disappointments with the mediocre NorCal Chinese food. Service was good too, fast and friendly. Definitely returning soon. Big Thanks

Nice looking place with lots of staff on hand. The menu has all the standard dishes that one gets at most Chinese restaurants. After looking it over i picked a szechuan dish. Given that the menu states that they specialize in Hunan and Mandarin cooking that was not a wise choice. Nonetheless it was a beautiful dish and tasty. I would say the sauce was more sweet and not spicy at all. Next time I'm in the mood for this kind of food, I'll stop in again

Had the Black Bean Scallops and Boneless Ribs. The scallops were generous and delicious. The black bean wasn't overbearing. Having mushrooms mixed with the red onions complimented the dish perfectly. The Boneless Ribs had a welcome sweetness to it. Just enough fat to the meat to keep the meat tender and juicy. Parking can be an issue.

Everything we ordered here was really very good. We wanted to keep eating. Everything is fresh and tasty. We liked oriental chicken salad, the Mandarin beef and pork pot stickers. Coming from NYC, Chinese food has always been cheap take out for us, but this place is not that. You pay a bit more but you can see and taste that the quality is much better. The staff here is great also. The complimentary garlic noodles included were sooo good. Thanks for that!

We ordered a lot of food for our daughter's birthday though their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took a bit longer than the online ordering system said. Which was no problem, I totally understood and was not upset. Then they brought put the order and apologized and gave me an extra item. It was unexpected and very nice. Their food is always very good, was the case this evening. The only minor issue is picking the spiciness level is a call from 1 to 5. But which is hotter 1 or 5? LoL we got 2 and it was plenty spicy (which I love). Highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One planning item for people picking up, there are now a lot of restaurants on Lotus with outdoor dining. This takes up a lot of parking, so you will likely have to park in the garage across the street. Which was free as of this writing on 11/15/2020. Enjoy!
