Traditions

The food was pretty good. The staff was friendly. Prices seemed a little high unless you strictly got the special 'plates'. Probably won't be going back anytime soon, just because the quality of the food was subpar to the price I paid. $50 for two adult meals and inside salads and dessert. It's a cafeteria, not a steakhouse.

Our family ate here today after laying our loved one to rest. After reading the reviews we were pretty excited about visiting for the first time. Unfortunately my family members were extremely disappointed. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant, the fried chicken was dry, tough, hard and too overcooked to eat, the cornbread tasted stale and the chocolate cake was flavorless. My husband said the meatloaf was ok. We did enjoy the green beans and the cabbage was delicious. Not enough for a return visit.

I so hate to write this negative review but to save others from the experience we had this evening I feel it necessary. Food was mildy warm at best and it appeared most had been kept warm after a likely small lunch crowd. Deserts were such a different taste than what you would expect and not in a good way. If you have to eat here for some reason go with a veggie plate, hard to mess that up. Suggestion to MGMT, close during the week as I am sure by the lack of customers we saw your bound to be losing money. Open on weekends so food is fresher, and consider a new chef or food distributor as there is no traditional flavor in the foods being served.

My granddaughter and I love to set up a date as she calls it to go to Traditions she 7 years old I'm 74 and we both love to eat there good food plenty of it waitresses are very good and nice and on the ball all the time all the time everybody's real nice we really like traditions you should try it it's a little on the high side for us regular folks but it's worth it
