Los Charros Mexican Grill

The chips were burnt, the waiter took 15 min to come take our order. The food was just OK at best. Then to my surprise I was charged two different amounts on two different days. Watch your bank statements! When it was brought to the employees attention they asked if we left a tip on the card. WHAT do you think you deserve a tip after all of that? They did refund the amount of the overcharge though.

My boyfriend and i went there last night and overall it was really good. I wish that the tables didnt rock like they do. Ours was all wobbly so i asked to be moved, and was then informed that ALL their tables were like that. But, our server cleaned off a booth table for us so problem solved. When we ordered our food, i wanted the "shrimp of the devil" or as listed on the menu Camarones de la Diabla. It said it was spicy, which is what i wanted. The server seemed very skeptical that i would want something that spicy. "Are you sure? Its very hot?" I suspect that he told the cook to tone it down because it wasnt spicy at all. The salsa was spicier than the shrimp of the devil. But it all was still very tasty. When we paid, my boyfriend got desserts to go. When we got home we realized that the "Xango" we ordered, which was supposed to be a fried cheesecake thing was actually churros. Not sure what happened there. But the food was still good, so i will probably go back. We actually wanted to try El Cerrito but theyre in the middle of relocation. Oh well, i still got full.
