Their food is gross now. My chicken teriyaki literally tasted like nail polish remover and I cannot believe the workers thought it was okay to serve something that awful. I took two bites and had to throw it out. The containers always leak the juices of the food, which is not a big deal, but the fact my chicken had such a chemical smell is disgusting. I haven’t been back since that experience. I used to love this place.

Their food was not good years ago and their food is still not good to this day. After years of not having their food since they were not good before, I expected to see a change of quality. The thing is, the quality changed for the worst. I ordered the chicken teriyaki, which is the entree they will cook on the grill for you. I chose this entree because I do not trust food that's been sitting on a steam table for hours. Anyway, the chicken teriyaki was unfulfilling. The chicken seemed cooked beforehand, the sauce lacked flavor, and the rice was definitely old. It was not a pleasant experience for me. It seems there was no "love" in preparing the food and that is a red flag for me. Hours after of eating their food, it was not sitting well in my stomach. I felt sick all day and just wanted to throw up, but couldn't bring myself to do so. That being said, I do not recommend this restaurant. If possible, just go to Magic Wok a few stations over. P.S. I also want to mention not ordering the beef teriyaki as well. My mother ordered it and it honestly looked like gray, mucus-y vomit over a bed of rice and vegetables. Out of curiosity, I tried a piece of meat and instantly spit it out. I could not palate the kind of texture the meat had and the sauce was way too overpowering with pepper. It was far beyond worse than my chicken teriyaki dish... I really hope Nori Japan does something to better the quality of their food.

I always get the soba noodles and sesame chicken. Food is consistently good and the staff are always quick, efficient, sanitary, and ready to answer any questions you might have. A two item combo plate is $7.09 at the moment and you really can't beat that for the portions they give you, i can make it last 2 meals. This place is my guilty pleasure and if you're gonna visit the mall this holiday season stop in and support a small food chain. Also, please tip! You can tip on your card, as well as in cash, just ask to add at checkout. Itadakimasu!

I love their steamed vegetables because they don't cook them into submission. Hot and crisp and I don't taste preservatives. I don't know what they do differently, but it's SO good - a healthier version of fast food. Next time you're in the food court at the mall, give it a try. I strongly recommend this place. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!

The staff was slow and unfriendly. Never smiled or said anything throughout my order. Never said "thank you. " No customer service. The food was HORRIBLE. Rice was cold, veg tasted like is was soaking in dirty water all day, beef was on the grill with raw chicken. The taste was like eating right out of a dumpster! I actually thought I was going to get sick afterwards. Had to give 1 star but it doesn't even deserve that! Stay away!
