Papa John's Pizza

Ordered online and went to pick up. Was ready on time and staff was nice, however, didn't confirm I was the one picking up (told me the order and I said yeah but why not confirm I was the actual customer?) so if it was someone else then pizza could be easily stolen. Pizza itself is okay; isn't soft, sausages taste like breakfast sausage instead of italian (other Papa Johns I've been to have actual Italian Sausages that didn't taste like this). They forgot some toppings too.

This particular papa johns just cannot get it right. Too many times they made mistakes on my simple order to receive it incorrect and cold. I have read that someone saw there order delivered recently to the wrong person. That is what they did to my order today. I have received my pizza and someone else pizza instead of my side. The pizza was a simple pepperoni pizza for Halloween. That is it! How can that be so complicated? To make matters worse, they do not want to answer their phone. I have called many times to report how much their service requires recalibration to priorities the customers but seems like they do not care about anything. This store is eventually going to close down permanently due to there incredibly poor service and won't miss it. Good Luck Papa John's store in university avenue.

I have ordered delivery from this location several times. The drivers are always super nice and friendly! However, my order was completely wrong. To start out with, my order in the app said it would take about 25 to 35 minutes, and it arrived about an hour later. Time isn't really an issue though, I can understand them getting busy. I ordered it before 9 o'clock on a Tuesday night. It's only a few miles from my complex. The pizza I ordered was a 1-topping (I added 3 cheese, to a regular cheese pizza) medium pizza, but that is not what I received. Instead, it only had the 3 cheese topping, no regular cheese. I paid for the extra topping, and it was not included. It also had no sauce on it, and was cut long and horizontally, instead of into 8 triangular slices. It was like a box of extra-long cheese sticks. A cup of pizza sauce WAS included, but again, not what I needed. There was no garlic dipping sauce, or even a pepper, even though my order, including those two items, were listed right on the box. The lack of preparation for my simple order leads me to believe the person (Or possibly people?) who made it really didn't care, or even checked to see what I ordered. I wanted a PIZZA so that I could have leftovers for lunch for a few days. But I guess making an actual pizza is too much to ask for.

I ordered a pizza and the estimated delivery time came and went... my pizza showed it was out for delivery at 7:56, The pizza's latest expected time was 8:10. I live 3 miles from the pizza place. We called around 8:46 only to be put on hold for 7 minutes and then be told the pizza should arrive in about 10 minutes... so after another 10 minutes I call back, I get the manager who was very friendly who tells me he has no idea where the pizza or the driver is. Anyways the order showed complete, I never got the pizza so the manager makes me a new pizza and says I should get it in about 15-20 minutes. At this point I'm pretty much over the whole experience, but agree to accepting a new pizza. The pizza arrived, the delivery guy was really nice, and my pizza was still completely doughy. So all in all I waited about 2 hours for a pizza that ended up arriving doughy. I'm now baking my own pizza so that I can eat it. :( I won't be ordering from Papa Johns again, which sucks because I have a ton of points because I used to be a big fan.

This location sucks and if I could give zero star I would. We’ve ordered pizza for business lunches on a weekly basis for more than a year now. When the pizzas are not folded on themselves or toppings on one side, the drivers are either way too late or way too early. I don’t even know how that is statistically possible. Today, the pizzas we ordered simply never arrived. I called the store, they asked which phone number I used for the order and said that they didn’t get the order. This is weird considering that I got the confirmation email, a screenshot of the order with the right phone number, and my card got billed! Unbelievable and totally unprofessional. That’s it Papa John’s: we’re ditching you!

If this is the only papa John's to order from due to your location you might as well go with dominos near you instead. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER service. Ordered 2 pizzas and parmesan breadsticks and took an hour and a half showing on my app that the driver is on his way, before I had to reach out and find out what is going on. I do have to state that supposedly my number was wrong that I input into the online order. However they were delivering into a business lobby where the driver could have easily told the secretary at the front who it's for and they would have called me down to get it. However the only alternative that the manager there wanted to give me was would you like me to reliever these pizzas that have now been sitting and done for an hour and a half, where the delivery person could have easily just told the person up front my name, where I would have had to go down and get them anyways. Never ordering papa John's again.....Marco's, dominos, and barros pizza are the new front runners.

My experience last night was horrible to say the least, waited over two and a half hours for an incorrectly made pizza, got called a liar, wasn't helped in a way that seemed fair whatsoever. The manager was horrible. Straight up told me he won't be making me another pizza because he did everything he could, which is basically nothing but tell me to get lost because he gave me free food that was done incorrectly. Please take the time to read the story I made when I figure out how to post photos in the reviews. It's quite the tale.
