This place is LEGEND here in Tempe! For more than 20 years these guys have been serving up the best Mexican style grilled chicken 🐔 in the state! It's an old store front, no thrills, no bells and whistles, nothing fancy here. What they have got is excellent food for a fair price in a great location! They have expanded the menu to now include beef. They make fresh salsa and serve it all up on handmade tortillas. The food is fresh and flavorful no matter what you choose from their focused menu, you can't go wrong! El Pollo Supremo is true to its name! Truly Supreme chicken!

I missed this place so much since I moved away. Still tastes the same with the same people working there. Go taste it for yourself so yummy, but bring cash they do not do cards.

One of my FAVORITE Mexican restaurants. The food ..... ABSOLUTELY delicious, everytime. She has been around for about 18 years that I know of.. I'm sure even longer. I wish I knew her seasonings used!

Chicken was delicious.
Beef was good.
Beans were good.
The pickled onions were ok.
Salsa was tasty.
Only mild negative was the tortillas needed a few more seconds of being cooked.
Solved that at home on the stove.

Absolutely must have no lard beans are amazing. The chicken is absolutely 👌 🔥 CASH ONLY! But to eat there is no more than 12 a person and that includes a drink.

A friend recommended this place. Since we were out of towners we decided to try. It’s definitely a hole in the wall kinda place but those can be the best restaurants. The menu was on the wall and was kind of hard to understand. After the owner explained the choices and how to order, we were soon eating our meals. Basically it was the fixings for putting in corn tortillas. It’s called “carne asada tacos “. Meat choices are chicken or beef. We all chose beef. It was very good and priced right. Bring cash cause they don’t take credit cards.

The chicken and beef are amazing. I love that they have a small menu. They know what they do the best, and damn do they do it well. I'm from the border and I can say this place is beyond excellent. Bring cash!
