Frontera Grill

Most recent experience (pick up). Ordered nachos with pork. Pork chunks were huge but mostly fat, almost nauseating when you keep getting piece after piece. Pork itself had no flavor. Order of large queso was barely half filled in container, which is pretty upsetting considering the cost. I know you guys can do better than this.

What an awesome place to eat. Very friendly staff and food is absolutely delicious. We started with loaded nachos, to die for (as my friend said, I would walk over glass for these). My sister had chicken fajitas, friend had a chicken dish that was made with a basil & wine sauce (delicious) and I had the loaded chicken burrito (also delicious). Portions were high, we all had to bring our remainders home. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I will begin by saying the several varieties of food we ordered were all excellent and came out very quickly. A 10+ for the food! Despite many empty tables, we were seated right next to a large family celebrating a birthday complete with loud screaming kids. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, took our order, brought our drinks, but never came to our table again unless we flagged her down. Our food was brought out by other servers. Our waitress never came to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything. We had to flag her down to ask for water. And again to ask for spoons. And again to ask for boxes to go. And again to ask for our bill. We were never asked if we would like anything else, like dessert. She spent all her time socializing with the people next to us, never once coming on her own to take care of us. Maybe this was unusual, maybe she just doesn’t know how to be a good server. Too bad, because she was very nice and would have gotten a good tip, but not this time.

I like this place. I've never been to a Frontera before so I took advantage as we passed through the city. Restaurant is actually decorated nicely with a good layout. The chips are thin and crispy and the salsa is quite good. The menu is extensive and I love that they have a vegetarian section! I ordered the vegetarian trio which had enchiladas and chili relleno. I gave 4 stars because the not exceptionally friendly waitress never checked on us or refilled drinks, the women's bathroom was pretty gross; cleaning was definitely needed, and finally I thought it was super weird that they included instructions with our bill on how to tip. I understand it's meant for foreign travelers but it rubs me the wrong way.
