Beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere and the food is amazing! Fantastic Sunday lunch
Stumbled on this restaurant last night and have to say I recommend a visit. Food was gorgeous, decor was gorgeous, cozy, inviting and warm (perfect for a November night in Spain). Service was excellent, hats off to the waiter who was on his own and was running around (I felt sorry for him at one point!) but he managed to still be an excellent host willing to do anything and made our evening. The flavours in the food were delicious. Will be recommending to everyone as this is a definite place to visit.
Met the new owners who took over around 3 months ago, very nice people, friendly. Decor is the same, a little quirky but I really like it. Food was very good, wine selection pretty good and I felt the price was reasonable, will definitely return before we leave.
i have been travelling to the Costa del Sol for many years and was recommended The English Garden Restaurant by some friends.
Well what can i say, from the minute you walk in you feel at ease and the restaurant has a lovely felling to it, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, the owners Tina and Steve are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
We spent the whole night in there as we felt so comfortable, not like some of the English bars we have visited on the costas!
Lovely menu, excellent choice of wine and beers, food is excellent.
We will be back on our next trip. 5 stars from me
Lovely restaurant and a very warm welcome by the owners Steve and Tina. The food was very good and very fresh, we deviated from the menu slightly to accomadate my daughter dietary requirements which was no problem and my and daughter loved the decor!. Well recommended and would not hesitate to return again. A real treat for the taste buds!!.
First time I ate here I got a terrible steak which was extremely tough. Now I decided to give it another chance, and I got one of the best lambracks i've ever eaten. The following week I went back and it was just as good. Looking at other reviews I assume that my first visit there was just a bad day!
We had the most wonderful time at The English Garden. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The owner Bryan is a great conversationalist, very hospitable and you will want to speak to him for a good laugh, information about the town and things to do on your journey! We'll definitely be back!!!!! Ohhh.. btw you should get the goat cheese croquettes, they're devine.
Fantastic place. Great food, atmosphere and lovely people. Highly recommend it, if you want to try good food, have a romantic dinner or even a night out with friends. We loved it and will certainly go back.
Beautiful and cozy place that serves delicious meals. If you arrive before 8pm you will still be able to order the lunch meal which has a very fair price.
The interior is very well designed and makes you feel very welcome.
New menu. Steaks, high end burgers and fish seafood for the main courses. I chose steak , which was delicious. My partner chose chicken which was also. Two starters, two mains ,four drinks 91€. So quite upscale.
