Friendly and fast service. Limited seating inside. Got the Chirashi bowl. The bowl itself was a bit heavy on the amount of wasabi and rice compared to the amount of fish. The fish itself was alright, not especially flavorful. However the redeeming quality of the bowl was the Unagi which was tender and delicious. Overall this place is worth a try.

My friends and I came in a little under an hour before close. Unfortunately they couldn't seat us, but we were still able to order to go. They have a screen in the front which makes ordering very easy. We ordered the chirashi bowl to split, and it was SO good. It was well worth the $20. I definitely recommend ordering a side of miso. It's a nice break between eat bite. The woman at the register was very sweet and helpful. I hope to try their sukiyaki don the next time. Can't wait to come back!

Very authentic, gyudon was my favorite. Could easily see this place becoming a weekly spot for me if I lived close.

I would say more like a 4.5 but can't do half stars. The fish was thick and soft, no fishy smell at all. Got the salmon bowl (sake donburi) and the sampler bowl (chirashi), both were good. Had a decent amount of rice, though I'd say the rice wasn't as soft and fluffy as I'd like it, it was slightly too hard. Wish they weren't so stingy with the sauce though, would have liked more of the yuzu one. Overall good sushi bowls and was a nice, portable meal to eat at Gasworks Park.

Fremont Bowl is a hidden gem in Seattle's dining scene, specializing in Japanese Poke that will tantalize your taste buds with its freshness and quality. The standout feature of this eatery is undoubtedly its impeccable chirashi. In a city renowned for its seafood, Fremont Bowl manages to stand out by offering some of the freshest and highest-quality sashimi you can find in the Seattle area. It is truly a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts. One of the restaurant's major strengths is its fast service. In comparison to similar establishments, you won't find yourself waiting for ages to satisfy your poke craving. This makes it an ideal spot for a quick, satisfying meal during a busy workday or when you're simply in a hurry. While the quality is unquestionable, it's worth noting that the prices at Fremont Bowl are slightly higher than those at its competitors. However, the freshness and taste justify the premium, making it a worthwhile splurge for foodies looking for an exceptional dining experience. One area where Fremont Bowl falls a bit short is in terms of ambiance. The restaurant's interior is rather plain, none of the Japanese themed atmosphere that some diners may seek. Nevertheless, its location in the vibrant Fremont neighborhood compensates for this. You can easily explore the bustling area before or after your meal, making it a great place to hang out with friends. Parking can be a minor challenge on a Friday night due to the popular location, but it's generally manageable. In summary, if you're looking for top-quality Poke and speedy service, Fremont Bowl is the go-to spot, even if you have to stretch your budget a bit for the experience.

You order on a screen at the front, which I did like. But it does get annoying if you are in a large party all paying separately. Not much seating. 1 table for 2, 2 tables for 4, and 3 tables for 6. Also a bar table at the front. My food was very good, I ordered the chirashi don with half rice and lettuce. But my wife ordered the chicken teriyaki don which had too much sauce. The chicken itself was delicious but the rice was over saturated in sauce. I like a lot of sauce but it was too much for me. It is mostly self-service. You even get your own water and cutlery. I would love to go back but my wife said no.

Too bad I live 900 miles away from this place. I'd heard about their Unagi bowl -- a nice mix of grains, sauces, and vegetables that feels virtuous as well as tasty. It was a casual order-at-the-counter setup, and orders were brought to the table. It wasn't authentic Japanese, I don't think, but food was modelled after their cuisine. A local took us there, and we're glad he did.

The sushi is so fresh and the bowls are really pretty. We took the bowls down to Gas Works Park and had a little picnic. It is only a few blocks away, I would suggest that you do the same. It made for a quite wonderful lunch. The prices are great for what you get!!

Very tasty chirashi bowl! We got the Chirashi Bowl and Volcano Donburi. The Chirashi was fresh and yummy but the Volcano was not really good. Staffs were very nice and friendly. Will come again if I’m in the area next time

Absolutely love the poke bowl and Chirashi bowls here. Very good portions and fresh fish. I’ve occasionally gotten the katsu bowls too, they are also very good.
