are you from the east coast and miss good southern food? are you reminiscing about the last time you had a decent piece of corn bread? if you answered yes to either of those questions, please GO HERE. this is the only place in all of california that has fantastic southern soul food and proper biscuits and gravy. not to mention how wonderful all of the sever are! this place truly feels like home without breaking the bank. thank me later!

Went there for lunch with a coworker of mine. Had a wonderful experience! The decor is very unique, and the vibe is definitely there. Our server was super helpful and tended to our every need. We received our food within 10 mins of ordering. The food was homemade and super delicious. I'll be bringing the rest of my coworkers when I come again.

Home run! A friend referred me here and cannot have been most happiest that we have this as our number one fave breakfast place now. Yolanda was the perfect one to have set the tone. Aggie the cook (14 years with this place) 🤌🏾 had our meal out in a blink of an eye and my dude said the chef knows how to make a medium rare steak. The best he’s ever had! The brew fresh coffee and bring the container to your table. Definitely recommended, parking in the back, dishes for vegans too!

Cricket country kitchen is a family favorite and a Sacramento hidden gem. Every meal feels home made and warms not just the stomach, but also the heart. The biscuits and gravy are a must, but everything on the menu is amazing; you can’t go wrong! The eclectic decor and friendly staff are the cherry on top. We love cricket and are always looking forward to our next visit!

Was out in Sacramento for my birthday weekend and came across this gem of a place for breakfast. Beyond glad because this place was beyond fantastic and delicious. Definitely picked an excellent spot! The biscuits and gravy were to die for, my eggs were cooked to perfect (over easy) and my girlfriend’s chicken fried steak was the best I’ve ever had. The customer service was great, we got seated quick and the food was well portioned. For the price too, this place is unbeatable. Can not wait to come back! I highly recommend it if you are in the Sacramento/Auburn area and looking a great place to eat. Very satisfying!!!
