It's a great place to grab a coffee on a nice morning. The staff is nice and there are plenty of seats. It gets crowded as days go by because this place is just so good.

The place is nice and welcoming. It gets busy sometimes and a long line extending to the corner of the street forms. They're pretty fast though fulfilling orders. I think staff should be more engaging with customers. I'm not that much fan of the food options.

A beautiful and airy, but warm tried and true coffee shop in Sacramento. I learned from a coffee blog that it’s grown tremendously but this location is still a favorite. I loved the penny floors! Great third wave coffee and fancy pastries and muffins, but don’t expect a breakfast menu. Plenty of seating space to do work despite the out-the-door line. Cold brew was good (not the best ever) but very solid.

This is one of my favorite stops in downtown. A couple years ago, they had a Apple chai latte that was really inventive, flavorful and satisfying. I haven’t seen it since. They do have gluten free donuts 🍩 and fairly quick service, but the place is generally packed! I love their leather sofa lounge space though, and the penny floor. You have to see it for yourself to appreciate it! Enjoy 😉

Move over Blue Bottle, you have a competitor for 4th (?) wave coffee. Or are we still on 3rd wave? It's funny how Europeans still think that the best America can offer is Starbucks. I guess that's true if all you see is our airports and freeways. I'm not aware of any Temple Coffee in the SF Bay Area where Blue Bottle has a strong foothold. We all know that coffee itself is a commodity so after the baristas have been properly trained to not burn milk and put some art into the preparation, what you have left is service and the atmosphere (and I guess for the aficionados, certain proprietary blends or sole source roasts) - which is where our earstwhile culturally ignorant European tourists will be surprised. While they have temples from the middle ages, we have a Temple to coffee. The Starbucks of the world are rapidly becoming the last resort freeway swill of the past. So pull up an oaken stool at a wooden counter top and prop up a book adjacent to the plate glass overlooking leafy boulevards and enjoy your caffeinated blend with oat milk (my preference) or otherwise. My nuanced rating is probably closer to a 4.75 stars, but Google doesn't allow for fractions.

Was in the area to take a walk on a beautiful Sunday morning and decided to grab a coffee here for my walk. The Orange Cream Cold Brew is super refreshing. Staff was friendly and quick with their service. Great place. 4.7/5.

I’ve been drinking temple coffee since I moved to Sacramento in 2012, and the coffee has been consistently amazing since then. It’s a real staple of the Sacramento coffee scene, which is top notch in the whole country. This location is absolutely beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The space is big and open with high ceilings and tons of natural light, which make the bustling nature of the shop feel less chaotic. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable without being pretentious. There are tons of different seating options- like tables near wall outlets for working, couches for lounging, and a patio for just hanging out with friends.
