I've only been to the takeaway window at the side of the restaurant but this little joint has the cheapest good coffees in the area. 3 bucks for a small coffee!The staff are usually very friendly and the coffees come out quickly. I'm yet to try them but my colleagues have reported great things about their sandwiches and baked treats too.

Seated at 7:30, starters didn’t arrive until 8:30 and mains didn’t come out until 9:40. Steak was over cooked (asked for medium rare and came out medium well). Risotto lack flavour and was a little on the small side. Sides were all prepared. Venue is in a great space, but it is far too loud to have dinner at and you could really only hold a conversation with the person next to you. Over all service was average. Excepted a lot more considering we spent $80-90 per head.

I booked my birthday lunch at Cafe Brass and had a fantastic experience. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was delicious. The staff made so much effort to ensure I enjoyed my special day! Would definitely recommend.

Had dinner at Cafe Brass this week for the second time since it opened. Had drinks beforehand in the courtyard, great spot for a drink. The food is delicious and elegant —but not fussy. Hard to choose what to have cos there is so much that appealed on the menu. Recommend The tuna sashimi (generous serve) and the fish special of sole was the best I’ve ever had. Love the vibe and the service was excellent too.

The food was nice, however service was poor, i was waiting for a drink for over half an hour. Everything on the menu was well overpriced with food portion sizes way too small. I feel like they sent a lot of their money decorating the 'cafe' and are overcharging customers to pay it off.

Probably the best lamb chops I’ve eaten. Cooked to perfection, they melted in your mouth. Delicious and dynamic flavour combinations. The steak was equally delicious and the oysters as fresh as you can get.

Really poor service, both in time taken to receive attention from staff, time required for food / drink to arrive and in attitude of staff. Food and drinks were OK when they came but overall extremely disappointed. We will not be going here again.
