I went to visit a relative who had to have emergency surgery and received a very favorable outcome. Only disappointment was nursing care received in intensive care. Nursing shortage should not have produced the problems that it did. Otherwise nursing care was excellent

Wonderful experience with a recent outpatient surgery. From check in to registration, pre and post care was phenomenal. All nurses where attentive and I felt safe and cared for. The next day they called to see how I was feeling and see if I needed anything.

I had to wait in lobby with no one around with heart issue and concern that I might pass out. Once I was seen I had excellent care.
My records were not sent to my PCP which he needs to have for reference For subsequent issues.

I really enjoyed my stay at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital. I had a C-section on June 19th and was there until the 23rd. Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant to speak with. The entire staff of the hospital in general was amazing. I felt comfortable with all the nurses and doctors and I will 100% be going back for any further pregnancies. Highly recommend you to try their food as well! Haha.

Amazing experience overall! The staff in Breast Radiology was quick, efficient and courteous. My visit went smooth and as expected. I couldn’t think of any recommendations for improvement besides an advice for patients to schedule their mammogram on line versus trying to call. It worked and took no time.

My. experience from start to finish was awesome. The scheduler was very helpful with telling me what I was to expect. The communication from the department regarding preregistering was very helpful. When I arrived for my appointment the registration staff was helpful and very cheerful considering it was 6:30 am. My technician Mia was very good and as I didn't require to walk me back to my waiting area I was glad she was there for the older patients.

Positive experience over all. Only one encounter that could have been better. A stroke limits
my ability to dress myself and get into my wheelchair. Several nurses helped me get dressed into my wheelchair and into my transportation home, professionally, cheerfully and with compassion. Majority of the nurses were friendly and helpful.

The nursing staff is unreal. They really made my labor and delivery smooth sailing. Even when our baby’s heart rate was dropping our nurse Melissa was by our side the whole time to ensure everything was okay and to monitor our progress. I was in labor for 36 hours and was supported the entire time.

My surgeon, the Nurses and staff were AMAZING! I spent the most time (awake) with the nurses and they took really good care of me during my surgery and made sure I was comfortable before and after. It couldn’t have gone any better. Welcoming & helpful staff, nurturing and knowledgeable nurses, and A+ surgeon. 10/10

I felt I was well attended to during my time there. I had surgery and felt very cared for by the nurses who did the prep work needed.I was very well informed of what was taking place at each step in preparation for the surgery. The staff had very good bed side manners a good sense of humor. The surgery was successful and the recovery nurses were also very attentive. I felt I was in good hands being taken care of by all the staff. From the Dr's. nurses, nurses aids and food staff.
