26DEC23...Richmond/Chesterfield,Va.-HOME OF THE BEST POPEYES in Virginia. PERIOD. 1DEC23-I'm back. I used the app & ordered Spicy sandwich & BOGO $1 6pc Sweet spicy wings-YUM!(to the 12th power)..is that homemade sweet spicy sauce? It is fingerlicking good! Ooh wèe on those wings!.. Didn't use the towelettes& it's the only item left in my bag.....wish I could door dash their food to Lynchburg..they.were even playing REAL ZYDECO MUSIC! "Go 'head with yo bad self" Can't wait to get back! 9SEPT23-Visiting Richmond area yesterday from Lynchburg...have eaten @ Roanoke, Va, too...but HULL STREET POPEYES BLEW ME AWAY w/The SPICEY CHICKEN SANDWICH! It was PERFECTION IN TASTE, FRESHLY FRIED&CRUSTING WAS CRUNCHY BUT NOT HARD...tasted like I was dining @POPEYES in Houston or New Orleans. I will be back.

Jaelyn was a rockstar. I ordered my food ahead of time, showed up at restaurant, fully anticipating to wait, but she prepped it and had it out within minutes. While enjoying my food, I noticed a lot of orders came in through the front counter. She managed them in a timely manner, and even was able to communicate with kitchen staff with demands, and was bilingual. She is positive, and very friendly which can be a rarity in today’s fast food world. I look forward to coming back.

Update 11/13/23 Spoke w/Sharon (GM) about the issues last night and she apologized, stating "That's not what we want for our customers." She is addressing these issues and wants us to give them another try. I absolutely will. I support businesses that take responsibility for your experience, good and bad. Well done Sharon. I will definitely be back. Update 11/12/23 @10:50pm I went to drive thru at 10:50pm just to order 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and 4 strawberry biscuits. The guy with the accent told me they didnt hsve sby chicken sandwiches or strawbery biscuits, only tenders. I said, you're a chicken sandwich chain, how can you be out of chicken sandwiches???? He sai, it's almost 11 why would they bother to make sandwiches and biscuits? I asked then why bother be opening? He said, good luck to you in a sarcastic way, and I left. Never ever again will come to this place and I literally live less than 2 miles away. Absolutely horrible. Shane on your staff. Ordered the Spicy Truff sandwich and omg did it stand up to the hype! Best chicken sandwich I have ever had, at the best price too! Sandwich was crunchy, fresh, tender chicken and slightly spicy. The staff are awesome! So nice!!! Will definitely go again to same location and order the Spicy Truff sandwich again!
