Rustica

We booked a table for 2 for 7 pm on Saturday 2nd September outside, for our anniversary. On arrival, our booking could not be found,but we were offered 2 seats at the bar due to a forecast of rain. The restaurant was very busy and the staff appeared very flustered. After a somewhat lengthy wait for starters,then main meals were served. The seabass dish was sent back to be rehated as was luke warm. Both starters and main courses tasted bland. After complaining ,we were given a refund on our bottle of wine. Having visited this popular establishment on several occasions with family and friends in the past, due to great food and service, we left deflated. We expected a restaurant with a 3 month waiting list and 2 hour time slot and higher end price food to be top class, as was previously. Very disappointed

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Fantastic scallops and Duck Spring roll to start. Biggest Pork chop ever with gorgeous crackling. Fabulous Rack of lamb. This is a beautiful restaurant, a real treat. Please, please, please if you are not using your booking let restaurant know, it is unfair to business and would give other people on short holidays a chance to experience this superb restaurant. 😊

While being in Spain over the October bank holiday my dad made sure he booked us a table here months in advance because of how good it was and wow it's absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding and the staff were all so lovely and friendly! I would definitely recommend visiting here if you haven't been before you definitely won't be disappointed!
