Gelato Messina Parramatta

I’ve been a Messina customer for years. However, of-late the ice cream here is unpalatable. All the fare seems to have become overly sweet over the years and the level of sweetness overtakes the actual flavour of the Icecream. Today my husband and I both threw our ice creams in the bin a few minutes after exiting the store as they were too disgusting to eat. I don’t think I will ever come back seeing as the standard has only dropped lower with time. If you like one dimensional sweetness definitely visit Messina Parramatta otherwise it is best avoided.

Excellent quality, friendly staff and prompt service. You will be spoilt for choices. The best thing is that you can try out a few before making up your mind. Some temporary seating is available outside on the George Street side. There are other seating options available nearby where one can try their luck.

This place is good for a quick ice cream. The place - though compact - is easily accessible. There are lots and lots of flavours that you can choose from. So, if you have kids with you, this is a good place. My favorite flavour is chocolate chip and it was fantastic 👍 Only 3 people at a time and you need to follow queues if you go there on weekends. Staff is cooperative and you do not have to wait much for your order. There's seating arrangement in front of the shop so you can enjoy cone ice cream 🍦 there.
