Todella hyvää ruokaa,ihanan intiimi paikka
This was our second time at Koh, 1 st Time was in may 2015, it was good then and it is still excellent food and top service.
Only criticism is the Curry’s need a little bit more acidity, a wedge of lime would be great but that’s also a personal taste.
Loved the spicy mojito.
We kept looking at each other during our meal, asking each other "can you believe how good this is?" The red curry even had fresh lychee in it.
We would be regulars for sure if we were local.
We are finishing our trip after spending several weeks In Europe and this hands down the best meal we have had. The food is fresh, authentic, and absolutely rich with flavor and taste. Beautiful ambiance and staff as well. A+++
Thai food and service was amazing. Very cute atmosphere. Not a huge menu but everything they do is wonderful. Highly recommend it!
We have been in Barcelona and Mallorca for 6 days and we found this quaint spot our last night and all I can say is it was our best meal in Spain. Hands down! Service was great and friendly and the food was amazing. We had three appetizers, three main courses and a dessert to share, and I couldn't say which was my favorite.... all delicious! You won't be disappointed!
So amazing! The short rib special was out of this world. This is the best meal we've had in Spain.
We wanted a healthy dinner and were very pleased with our experience at Koh. For starters we had summer rolls and crispy duck salad. Both flavourful and nicely presented. The mains of the day were mainly curries, we opted for a non curry, the grilled sea bass with green mango salad. Very tasty. This main was as flavourful as the starters. The dessert, mango (made as a mango brulée) with ginger ice cream was a fresh and not to sweet an ending to the meal.
Service was relaxed and attentive and they helped us with info about different portion sizes as they varies. The summer rolls very small, the duck salad a normal starter size and the sea bass small for being a main.
The local doesn't have much AC but all in all we had a good experience.
One word...delicious!! My friend and I went here two out of three nights we were staying on the island.
Good Asian food with a twist. Small menu but you will find something you like in the Asian food universe. I really liked how the presented the food.
We had the Vietnamese Springrolls which were fresh and nicely prepared. My Duck was roasted and surrounded by an ocean of spicy curry sauce.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Palma. Everything I've ever tried has been exquisite, from Beef Cheeks, soups, Ginger Ice cream, and Duck that melts in your mouth. And make sure to try the Delicious Kumquat Gin and Tonic. It really is a great fusion restaurant.
We ate at Koh on a Tuesday in July 2013. Arriving at around 9pm, we had no problems getting a table without a reservation, but the restaurant quickly filled up in the subsequent hour.
My first impression was that of an exceptionally stylish modern, but not posh restaurant. The menu consisted of some small plates, labelled street food (spring rolls, wontons etc.), a few smaller plates, 4 different curries and a few other mains. There were also three our four desserts to choose from. The food is a mix of different southeast asian cuisines, with some modern european touches.
We were quickly attended to by the sweet watress, who supplied each of us with some excellent drinks (redcurrant mojito and kumquat gin & tonic). Although the restaurant was full, the two waiters managed to keep everything under control, supplying us with our food quickly, and making sure we were all right thoughout the evening. We had duck and mango spring rolls as a starter, which were fresh and flavoursome. For mains, we choose the green curry with prawns and chicken, and the malay red curry with confit of duck, along with extra vegetables and rice. The green curry was fresh and zingy, exactly as it should be, but the real star of the meal was the red curry. Simply put, this is the best asian dish I have ever had (although I of course am taking some liberties in calling it an asian dish, but be that as it may). Amusingly, the diners at our neighbouring table expressed the exact same sentiments when they were served the malay curry :) The combination of crispy confit duck and a spicy and full-flavoured rec curry sauce was truly genious. For dessert, we had the banana fritters with butterscotch, which were by my mum (a banana fan, unlike me) to be delicious, and a white chocolate and macademia parfait with coffee caramel sauce, which was also good. In total for three drinks, water, a starter, two mains and two desserts, the bill came to a modest €66.
In essence, Koh has it all - atmosphere, service, excellent food and that 'it factor' that makes for a great restaurant. If you tire of spanish food while in Palma and crave some brighter flavours, Koh is just the ticket!
