It’s almost what you’d expect from Tropical Smoothie, except the smell of cleaning chemicals is intense, the music is incredibly loud, and not many things function as they should in the females restroom. Staff is mostly pleasant, smoothies are on par.

So I used to work here. This was my first job. I loved greeting people and getting to know my co-workers. I can't spill every detail, but I can say that this is honestly an average Tropical Smoothie.
A lot of the time, there was no communication, so it was very difficult for me to get my schedule right. I learned how to make smoothies, and it's easy now. But that was because I was determined to not have my smoothie taste like the inside of a toilet.
I have tried many of the workers smoothies, but I only trust a select few and myself. I thought that I was a great worker and I received comments from people that they only come back because of my smoothies.
I can understand that people have a problem with waiting way too long. However, I dare someone to go back there and make a smoothie. The fastest the oven goes is a minute, so putting it through the oven is what takes forever. Then you might have something wrong with the register and its system. It has shut off out of the blue plenty of times. And we do have online orders for the website, GrubHub, and other delivery sites. So I apologize for the inconvenience. But, it's not like we're sitting twiddling our thumbs, this is hard work.
Now the true problem is not having the right amount of workers. Ideally it should be 1 for each of the four stations, but you have people that are "late" or they are just off work because of class. I at least tried to work with my schedule, and come in if I was truly needed.
All in all, I loved the interactions. I loved being able to master the smoothie machine. I just didn't appreciate the miscommunication. I cared about this job, but I was let go really suddenly instead of being told the actual reason why, because I know all the other reasons were lies. I never received a strike like I should have, but I received a release. I really needed this job, and now I'm feeling cheated while searching for a new one.
I can't tell you not to go because it isn't the worst TSC, but it was a pretty bad place from my, and many others perspective. I won't care for many things, but disrespect is definitely not one of them.

The one star was due to the employees being respectful, but the service was incredibly slow, so this technically doesn't even deserve anything but a negative rating. Waited 30 minutes for a Caribbean Jerk Chicken wrap. The first time my food was brought out to me, it was the wrong order. Tables were filthy. Management needs to step it up with this location, oh wait...this seems to be a constant problem still with no change. Obviously, management doesn't care either. Higher needs to be involved.

This is the worst tropical smoothie I've ever been to. I tried to get a simple smoothie and the manager ran over and snatched the cashier away from us and demanded that he needed to shut it down and stop taking orders because she had "tickets down to the floor" when In reality like 5 people were in the entire facility. This wasn't behavior that should be coming from a manager or any employees for that matter. I am extremely disappointed in this tropical smoothie.

I've never visited a Tropical Smoothie Cafe as we don't have them in the midwest. My review will be the same for all of them. Clean, delicious food and smoothies, and very polite employees. Makes me want to open my own cafe in my town. 😁

I check their hours of operation and the website said they closed at 9pm. I arrived at 8:35pm and the customer service girl said “thru a crack in the door” that they close 25 minutes before 9 so they can clean up. I politely shared that their website and hours on the door state that they are open until 9pm and that they should be open until 9pm and clean up after like the vast majority of other food establishments. She honestly could care less and told me to talk to the owner as she walked away. I will never return.

Good service, definitely nothing against the guys but you can tell they are seriously understaffed. Only had two orders and it seemed to take a minute to even get it. Great employees just understaffed and really think the company needs to attempt to hire more people because I understand but there could be others who don’t and then yeah, wouldn’t be good after.

Service was terrible. Walked to the register and the girl at the front took 5 mins of trying to figure out some issue with another worker before finally taking my order. Waited over 20 mins for two smoothies...how long does it take to make a smoothie??? After that they came up to my friend who ordered right after me and said they forgot what she ordered...another 10 mins later there was her order. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
