La Cabane - Restaurant

This was my first time at this location and I loved every minute of it the food was amazing one of the best soul food spots in Newark I had the sticky wings with yams and yellow rice and it was definitely made with love I wish I could have tried the deviled eggs but they were out I will be back to try them

The food was nothing short of amazing. But I knew it would be just based upon the pictures and videos they had posted to their Instagram account. I drove an hour from Monmouth County all the way up to that place and to be honest, I look forward to making the long drive again soon for another taste. I got baked chicken with collard greens, yams and macaroni and cheese. The food was so delicious that I also got an order of fries chicken to go along with it. I brought a friend who happens to live in the area and she tried the baked chicken platter as well. She loved it. I mean I literally hummed out loud while eating because the food was that good. 5 star experience.

Mmm. They made this pregnant lady's day! It smells so good walking by here, it was just a matter of time before we popped in to try something because we walk past all the time. There's always activity, so obviously the word is out that it's a solid spot. We grabbed deviled eggs, a fish sandwich, and chicken and waffles. Everything was cooked to order and it's just lovely. So fresh, so piping hot, so flavorful. Nice crispy chicken and fish. This will be a staple, I can tell. Thank you for an awesome lunch!

I wanted to try a soul food place new from the norm and I found Soul2Soul from a popular black owned NJ page on Facebook. Ordered, and picked it up and I was not let down at all! The macaroni and cheese, candied yams, with ribs, and rice comes with it added already! My taste buds were excited! Wait time not long at all! From the assistant who answered the phone to the picking up of the food was all a great Customer Service friendly experience! I loved every moment of it! My family also enjoyed and this is a definite place on our rotation for dinners going forward!
