Awesome Newark

Awesome food is exactly what you get, along with some a warm and friendly hospitality. I walked in here by suggestion of my brother and I'm still thanking him today. I ordered a chicken sandwich and what I received was way more than I expected. The combination of pesto mayo, fresh sliced tomatoes and roasted peppers toppled with swiss and the chicken was seasoned to perfection! If this is what they can do with a simple chicken sandwich, I can't wait to see what else is in store!! Deeeelish!!

this place is a gem lost in the jungle, on the SW corner of Market St & Ailing St beside penn station. I ordered a fresh sliced turkey sandwich to go. Had no time to sit and eat though the decor & music were very inviting. Looks new to the neighborhood and saw their were no reviews. There were a 4 or 5 few tables and everyone seemed to be enjoying their lunch. Spoke to the owner Leynese (i think), well she brought the sandwich out and was very pleasurable. Great Sandwich with avocado & cranberry sauce, wrapped in a light plastic drip bag ... AMAZING!! Can't wait to go back and try the Salmon Burger....mmmm.

"A gem in the jungle" is perfect description. Entire roof is see through plexiglass, 25+ seats, home feel decor with light music playing the first day I visited. I've been there a few times and each time they seem to add to menu (or subtract lol) ... But everything made to order and seriously AWESOME... Currently open 11-5:30, I went in about 11ish most recently before a trip to NYC and to my delight an all day, french toast breakfast platter was added to menu! YESSS! Fresh fruits on my french bread with Canadian maple syrup AND thick canadian maple bacon. dude... Ill be back, lol
